Lindsey Kytti Poem
Silently...
Patiently...
I wait for my time
day after day
always the same
knowing somehow
progress is being made
if even only
(watching from the distance)
hanging on
to every word
everything You've ever said
You're hanging on
and won't let go
You have my soul, You're in control
dangling here
over the depths of hell
with eyes fixed
on the gates of Heaven
will I ever pull myself up
or am I too weak
in time letting go
only to drop
somehow knowing
(You'll be there to catch me)
hanging on
to every word
everything You've ever said
You're hanging on
and won't let go
You have my soul, You're in control
no one around
yet not on my own
trying to find
the courage within
looking back at where I began
(I can't turn away now)
hanging on
to every word
everything You've ever said
You're hanging on
and won't let go
You have my soul, You're in control
Too far
Too far have I come
Too far to let go
So close
So close am I now
So close to my home
My God

Lindsey Kytti Poem
Your soft hand upon my body,
Caressing me as I lay
Yours to do with,
What you may.
I shutter as I feel you
Deep within
Under my skin
Goosebumps, shivers, and tingles
Fill me as I lay
Yours to do with,
What you may.
No longer still,
Arching, rolling, and clenching
To the sheets
Silent still
As I lay
Yours to do with,
What you may.
Enjoying every moment
No longer silent
Moaning, groaning, and whispering
Your name
As I lay
Yours to do with,
What you may.
I can feel the
Energy, compassion, and love
As your tender lips touch mine
I watch in awe
As I lay
Yours to do with,
What you may.
My heart races faster every minute
As your lips move over my body
I can hear, feel, and taste
The words from your mouth
As I lay
Yours to do with,
What you may.
Holding you close,
As you lay
Mine to do with,
What I may.

Lindsey Kytti Poem
Staring into space
Eyes fixed on your face
Trying to retrace
How did I get to this place
Together we feel so right
Here with you tonight
Arms wrapped around me tight
Become one, we might
Your heart with mine
Steadily keeping time
Can this be a sign
Of a feeling I can't quite define
My thoughts astray
As I look for words to say
Here I as lay
Be yours, I may
As you kiss my brow
Trying to tell you somehow
Here and now
I make this vow
With you
My life, I start anew
To myself, I am true
Always, I will love you

Lindsey Kytti Poem
We can't see past the decision
we don't understand
lost in our minds
trapped by the possibilities
where will it take us
how will we know
for answers to unfurl
look deep in your soul
we have trouble seeing past the decisions
we have yet to understand
the picture we start to see
though the focus is not quite clear
as our hearts develop
as we learn within to grow
the answers are even closer now
as we dig thru the layers in our soul
we see clearly thru decisions made
knowing now understanding is not needed
a portrait in front of our eyes
the most beautiful sight ever since
grown to our fullest potential
now comfortable with our own
the true answers lie within our hearts
but eternal knowledge comes from the soul

Lindsey Kytti Poem
Out in these peaceful waters
You by my side
It all seems so perfect
To you, my eyes can not lie
Looking to the skies
The storm overhead
I see it in your eyes
The same shade of grey
Knowing where we're headed
This look of saddness
My heart begins to sink
I feel there is nothing I can do
The waters become rapid
Waves pouring in
Struggling as I drift away
Farther from where I began
Amongst all the chaos
You reach out and catch my hand
Pulling me in
You hold me close
Afraid to lose, I shut my eyes
As we hold on for dear life
The most perfect thing we've found
Here in each others arms
The noises subside
As the storm passes by
I open my eyes
To see you still with me
The waters once again clear
Trying to find our way
It's like we can see forever
All there is, is me and you
