What Would You Do?

what would you do
If a person hurt you?
Would you tell a soul
about that horrid dreadful night
Or would you keep it to yourself
Letting the moments replay in your mind
day after day
night after night
feeling as if it was your fault
even though all you could do
was lay there and struggle

what would you do
if you held everything back
would you let it stay in
until one day it spills over
and your arms are lined with marks
from every blade you pressed
deep into your skin

what would you do
if you lost your bestfreind
would you froget about what happened
or relive each second everytime you went to sleep
Listening to glass shatter
tires screeching
Blood splatter
children screaming
Death's laughter
would you wake up at night
tears streaming down your face
wishing it had been you
wishing you could of done something
wishing that life wasn't so bad
wishing you could lay down
close your eyes
and just die

Seeing Is Beliving

I wish that you could see behind my eyes
And into the dark corners of my mind
You would see all the pain, misery, and saddness
That swims in and out
If you could see my memories
And relive them each night.
Then you would know why my wrist are slit
I wish you knew what I've been through.
Maybe then you could understand the things I do

My Sweet Baby

I never knew of so much love
Until the day I felt your touch
I Kiss your small cheek
from under your lashes, you give me a peek
Your eyes, so small, so beautiful
Your my little sweet baby
Fresh and brand new
I watch as you grow
From a tiny thing
To being fully grown
Anytime your eyes leak tears
Anytime you need help
And anytime you need love
I'll be there
To hold you when you cry
To help you when you think you might die
And to tell you that I love you

Young and Old, Children and Adults.

I watch the children as they play
They laugh
and smile, thinking
everything is okay
But in there feeble little minds
Hidden behind bright young eyes
They know, to the world there nothing but a child
The world dosen't know
The world dosen't care
There just another face
With a number and a name
Inside, they grow old
Tired and misserable
Sick and cold
Wishing something good would happen
But knowing that it won't
Outside there still young
Knowing nothing of the world
And the evil people it holds
Old replaces the young
Now these children are adults
Frowns and sunken eyes
They never seem to smile
All they seem to do is cry
When money isn't right
When life turns into a job
The only time they smile
Is when they finally die.

I Hate

I hate to write of misery
But I love it so much
It make me feel so real
Like love from a mother
From child to parent
I hate to write of pain
Though I endure it everyday
And the only way I can ignore it
If I write it down on paper
The only thing that feels my pain
I hate to write of tears
But they come at random times
There either red or clear
But mostly there black
I hate to write of anger
I barely ever feel it
It never seems to let me be
But when it comes
It never leaves
I hate to read these poems
Because every time I read them
I relive the time
I relive the experience
Of what happened on that same exact day.

Not 'The End'

The ride is over
The time has come
Theres no more to write
Everything has been done
The last page is full
The ink is dry
It's hard to think
It's hard to concentrate
A minute goes by
Still nothing comes to mind
But I keep going
The poem gets longer
I start to write faster
Thoughts turn into sentences
and sentences into lines
So in a way,
The page might be filled
The ink might be dry
But out there
Somewhere
A book lays open
Waiting to be filled
of love,
of hate,
of joy
of pain,
So again I say,
The book is over
The ink is dry
Theres more to come
Though even more to hide.

Control

I treat people the way they want to be treated
Even when they put me down
I always manage to stand my ground
No matter what I do
or what they say
I'll never let them have there way
They can shout at my face
Curse my namesake
But why should I care
When there the one's being played?
I won't let them take control
I won't show them how I feel.
Thats just giving in
And if I'm correct
I control my emotions
I control my actions
So, I think it's only fair that
I, should win.

You,Yourself,Not Me

When I look into your eyes
I try to see behind your lies
I never seem to know the truth
No matter how hard I try and look
You show me no emotion
But give me an excuse
You think I’m just no good
You think I have no use
Your nice one day
Then your attitude changes
You’re nasty and mean
And act like you listen
But all you hear is your voice
Thinking that you’re right
When half the time you’re wrong
You think I’m ok
You think the next day will always be the same
You think you know who I am
Just by the way I act
You think I’m always bored and tired
You think by forcing me to do things you see fit
Will make me happy
Will make me submit
You even think that you can change me
Stop making me do the things I do
But me being me
I’ll just ignore your ways
Because one of these days
I’ll even be better than you.

I'M Sorry

I'm sorry
I'm sorry that I thought you cared
That your love was never really there.
I'm sorry that I let my heart
fall into your hands
I thought you would protect it.
I'm sorry that I let the words
'I love you,' slip from between my lips.
I'm sorry that I cared so much
So much so, that
I love you even when
you broke my heart.

Back and Forth

pretty smile
Happy faces
Fakelaughter
crying tears
Holding in
Inernal pain
No more laughter
Just more tears
More stares
More whispers
Shouting out:
'LEAVE ME ALONE!'
Broken soul
Heaven or hell?
         I can't even tell....
