In Memory of To Remember

First day of Kindergarten,
It’s all exciting and new,
Found a new friend,
I was happy too,

We always ate lunch together,
Played at recess as well,
We became close,
It was easy to tell,

One day I asked my Mom,
Can she come and play,
Of course she said,
How about Friday,

All excited I was,
To have a friend over,
I just have to ask her,
I’ll ask her tomorrow.

She was gone that next day,
She was going to Spokane,
She would be back tonight,
I’ll try again,

Had to wait until Monday,
A little sad but no big deal,
Got a call on Sunday,
Nobody would want to hear,

She had been in a crash,
A semi truck had toppled over,
Crushed the car,
Her under,

I cried for weeks,
She was gone,
She was only six,
Way too young,

Memories are fading away,
Her face is going blurry,
Through my mind,
She is dying slowly,

In my heart,
There’s a place forever,
For her to stay,
A place to remember,

Hurt

emotions are running wild
confused and broken
about the one you love
the feelings you have for one another are unexpainable
but the things you do hurt
regretting the things you did together
the closeness you shared
thinking you went to far
its to late now
the test is positive
thinking of the options
abortion? adoption? or keep?
scared and mordifyed about whats to come
everyone will know and hear what happened
theres no hiding
you want to run away forever just to avoide the problem
you start to fight with each other
the love you once had is fading
wanting things to go back to how they were
now alone, you break down and cry
thinking how could this happen
again the options pop in your head
you think what should i do?
im only 15 to young to be a mother
and against abortion
i want this child to have a amazing life that i could not give
you decide to have the baby and give it up for adoption
but in the back of your head you keep thinking how could i get myself into this mess:/

Up To Heaven

It was over in a flash,
It was so sudden,
No one could see or believe,
What had happened,

She went to heaven that day,
People mourned for her death,
The bruises all over her body,
The cause was from meth,

Her mom was out of control,
She shot up eight times that night,
Blaming her for why her dad left,
It was a horrible sight,

Her body flew against the wall,
Fallind down and lifeless on the floor,
She was kicking and screaming,
The neighbors hear the sound and came in the door,

The mom was sentenced to life in prison,
Her little girl had to pay,
The price for her mom's problem,
She soared to heaven that day,

A Mask

No regrets
laugh and smile
live every day like its your last
you hope for a good day
you even put on a smile
but that smile is just a mask
to hide the truth behind
broken and hurt
life is going nowhere
you seem happy on the out
but nobody sees the hurt in your eyes
to afraid to tell anyone
for they may so oh your just depressed
so you keep it all to yourself
wanting some love, but when you cry out
no one hears or comes
they just shut you out
tears are forming
its getting to be to much
you write a quick goodbye
saying how you have felt all these years
maybe now they will know and see how they were to you
you leave it on the table
go searching for Daddys gun
put it to your head
but can't budge to pull the trigger
crumbbling to your knees
you sit quietly thinking tears are falling
do i really want this?
you sit for hours
finally they all come home and find you on the floor
reacting like anyone would
crying saying im sorry
they ask why?
you give them the note
they all read in silence crying and shocked
to read how you felt
in silence you stay
soon everyone gives you a hug
from that simple hug you feel different
finally some love
thinking to yourself
im glad i didnt pull that trigger

The Heart

Beating and pumping,
Blood every minute,
Keeps us alive,
To cherish the moment,

Hold all the love,
We have for one another,
The laughs and smiles,
Make memories foever,

Beating and pumping,
Blood every minute,
Keeps us alive,
Go cherish your moments,
