Mom and Dad

To my mom and sweet, sweet dad
I found a place where dreams are had.
Past the world that always weeps
But please stop crying for me, you see
I’m in a place where love is held,
Past the woods and grassy hills.
Here the fairies shine and glow.
With every single breath I throw,
A piece of love and prayer too true
For now I give my love to you.
  Even now as I sleep
I dream of sky’s and sparkling seas,
Loving faces that surround my sight
Keeping the magic threw the night.
As I say goodbye to you
I wish that you would say it too.
For now I’m in a grate new place
Of magic, fairies, and brand new things.

A Hearts Prayer

They say an angle watches you and every step you take,
That no leap in unguarded even when mistakes are made.
They’ll teach you of the world and all it has to give,
And just how your love could be such a precious gift.
They’ll keep you close to their hearts even if you’re far away,
Just in case you stumble or even lose your way.
They’ll guide you through your worries, fears and tears
While never let a nightmare creep anywhere near.

For even when you’re older she’ll be right by your side,
To chase away the monsters and brighten up the night.
To hold you close when you’re afraid and wipe away the tears,
She’ll lift you up and tight with strength then whisper” I’ll always be near”.

A blessing this angle was sent to you,
While watching every step you take.
She’ll be there to help guide you
No matter what mess you make.
I guess god knew what he was doing
When he sent this angle to you.

See, not only do you have a guardian,
But a mother whose love is true!

** I wrote this poem for my mom on mothers day'05, just 1 yrs before she passed away.
so i put this on here as a memory to her, and how much I'll always miss her.***
                                             !!! I LOVE YOU MOM !!!

A Tear

It falls as swiftly as rain upon the softest cheek,
The signs of a Broken heart so serine but week.
Imposable to hold back yet not so easy to let free,
But the feelings of hurt and sorrow may be just what you need.

Yes, it’ll over take you and fill you with dread,
Till you can’t eat or sleep and just lay in your bed.
You’ll have to be strong to force this away,
But sometimes this strength has a price to be paid.
For strength is not cheap it cost quite a bit,
It’ll cause you to be hard and stubborn within
So it’ll hurt as much as the Broken heart did.

See, being hard inside hurts just as well,
For truth will seem just like a spell.
Words will cover just like a sheet
So your eyes may not see.

So it’s better to have love and lost, then to have never loved at all.
At least that’s what they say right before you fall.

As you know this causes emotions that is felt deep inside,
Not only of hurt and sorrow but happiness and pride.
Its definitions many while understandings few,
As many people feel it still not knowing what to do.
Overwhelming at times yet can be discrete,
Never knowing the cause could be just what you need.

Sometimes it’s good to shed quite a few,
It helps you build stronger while retaining the new.
It’s said to gain character and knowledge within
To help you out when the clouds roll in.

So what is this thing that I talk so deeply about?
That can cause happiness, sorrow, and feelings of doubt?
Its power is great yet still understood.
Though the size may surprise, it’s smaller then you knew.

*A simple tear is what it be……..And still remains the best remedie.*

You'De Never Know

This is a story of people you knew,
And you’ll be quit surprised when you find that it’s true.
It starts in a place very similar to this.
Built of concrete walls and gates within.

You’ll see many people yet none of them alike.
But a young girl will stand out and be seen many times.
She’ll sit all alone to ponder her thoughts,
And with her a notebook she’ll be writing a lot.

Not like the others you’ll notice that fast,
She’ll look up with a smile when you slowly pass.
She may not talk but having a lot to say,
It’s all in the little book, to bad it’s hidden away.

She holds so tight so no one may see,
The many of pages, poems written in ink.
She has a variety from happy to sad,
And even some one’s that will give you a laugh.
It’s too bad the world will never get to see,
The wonderful talent she has for these things.

I wonder why it is, she hides them away.
Could it be that she’s just simply ashamed?
That maybe the world might not understand,
Why she holds her heart in the pages at hand.

Well, knowing she’s gifted she feels it inside.
Having the ability to write in rhyme.
Now if only I could just gain her trust,
I know she would share with all of us.
The secrets that she holds so dear,
Of happiness and sorrow, Tear-by-tear.

But I know that day will never come,
For that trust is something that can’t be won.
She’s been hurt too bad to let me in,
So I guess her secrets will die within.

A Special Day

Today is your day to show just this,
That you’ll take gods hand and walk with him.
Down the path that leads to life,
Holding on with all your might.
“you’ll never let go” you promise him,
As he smiles back and adds to it.

“ I am the truth, the way of life. And with this you’ll start your life.”
“To show your love is just like mine, strong like the wind that never dies.”

  Remember that today will show,
That you have faith in all you know.
Just like you know his love it true,
And that he died on the cross to show it too.
Telling he has faith in you,
To live the life he made for you.

And with this you’ll say his name
And feel the love threw out your vanes.

  -Knowing your decision is right-

To give your heart in a special way,
So we can call it your Baptism day.

Tears

Once upon my bed so still,
I sit and think and wonder will,
He ever love me once again?
As memories fill my lonely head.

While my heart aches with every scene,
The tears are deeper then they seem.
Now the sleep of one night’s lost,
Due to the hurt of an untrue love.

The Unknown

What if the world ended today,
How would you react to this?
                             Would you say:
“oh, I have seen the world and all it has to give.”

                          What if you look back,
To all the memories that you hide?
Would all of them be happy,
Or would you sit and cry?

                          What if someone asked you:
“What have you done with your life?”
Would you sit there with a smile,
And say that you have lived it right?

So, when you look back on your life,
                               Always ask yourself this:

                       "WHAT IF SOMEONE ASKED YOU?"
                       "WHAT ANSWER WOULD YOU GIVE?"

Colors

Blue is the tear that runs down your face,
Pink is the love in your eyes.
These are the colors that will always meet
Whenever he’s on your mind.

Gold is what you gave to him,
Silver is what he returned.
These are the colors that will always meet
When you think of the heart that’s been torn.

White is the innocent looks he gives,
Black is revealing the truth.
These are the colors that will always meet
When you finally see right through.

Gray is the mask that hid his soul,
Clear is what you couldn’t see.
These are the colors that will always meet
Whenever he talks about memories.

Yellow was the rose he gave,
Brown is what time turned it into.
These are the colors that will always meet
Whenever memories come back to remind you.

Green is how sick you were,
Red is the lies he sold.
These are the colors that will always meet
When you see inside his soul.

The world is full of colors
That reminds us every day,
Of a love, or lonely sight
That seeks to remind
A meek or hopeful mind.

Remember that colors are expressions,
That few can read, see, or understand.
And never let the love of a man
Tare it all away,
With a single look or glance.

For orange is the color of a new day,
A day full of song and dance.
These are the THINGS that will always meet
When you’re willing to take a chance.
