No Promises

Hi. I'm here, I guess I'm ok. It's best that I stay away. I feel different everyday. Better wait 
to see if I do what I say. Don't want to let you down. No false hopes. No talkin around the 
problems. Got to solve them.  when I win you will know. Not a word will be spoken. So 
promises won't be broken.

She Sees Me

She said she would pray for me. In bed sleeping peacefully. Hands folded perfectly. 
Mercifully she speaks to me. Hopefully I'll better me. Let her be ahead of me. Steadily I'll 
pick up speed. Heavily, it hurts to breathe. I'm certain she has what I need. She's in my 
blood, she's what I bleed. She sees what I was and knows what I can be. She believes. She 
makes me want to succeed. She takes me for me.

I Exist

Sputnik in the sky just passing by. I wish that I could be that high, on a night like this.  
Shooting star too bright to miss. Light streaks through darkness. Burning intense. I like this. 
I exist.

All-Nighter

Why stop now? Look past the obvious.  All night out. Non-stop conciousness. Oxygen 
between cigerettes.  Once again I'm a drunk mess. Less is more unless you're wreckless. 
Pedal to the floor they'll never catch us.

Broken

You think I'm not broken. On a Sunday drive. The words not yet spoken, seem no surprise. 
I'm choking on my smile. Hoping meanwhile everything everything will workout. Bottom of 
the pile, trying to dig out.

I wish I could say what I want to say without saying it. You jumped into my head and you 
spent all day in it.  You know my favorite song and you keep on playing it. I can't stop 
singing it.

In My Room

These walls around me have not bound me like a tomb.  I come and go as I please.  
Returning only to translate prophecies of what my mind sees, day in and day out.
I stay out among the living, sifting, drifting through unseen perspectives.  A representative of 
a new initiative. A politician for the unheard masses.  Experience brings wisdom that is not 
taught in classes. Wipe your glasses, you just don't see it. Open your mind, it's time to free 
it.  Flee from the same old way. Lord may tomarrow be better than today.

Destruction

Such devine destruction. Nothin feels the same. Running from the reprecussions that are 
swallowing my name. Too much time doing nothing. I got no time for pain. No need for 
discussion.  I got nothing left to say.

Excite Me

I like the feeling of dirt beneath my feet. I like to hear the gate squeak.  I like to wake up 
singing. I like the smell of dirtbike exhaust in the morning. I like the look of sharks teeth. 
When it rains I like it pouring. I like gravy with my dark meat. I like to wake myself up 
snoring.  I like danger and excitment. I don't like to be boring.

Aggressively

A destructive path indeed. Feel the wrath that I bleed. Cruise past the exit I need. I speed 
excessively. Aggressively I wrestle me. Questioning who I should be. Forgeting what I used 
to see.  You can't get used to me. I get old quickly. I move swiftly. Without a paddle, drifting.
