"my Legacy"

O master! Will, what thou craves for me!
The forsaken life is a praise for me

Tranquility resides in heart to see
The wonders in store thou hath for me

O fire! Retire! And Spare The Free!
Save if you would the flare for me

Endurance is my bride, sustenance the key
That is all perhaps there is to me

I am but a legend. There is no truth to me
And that indeed is my legacy

Solitude

SOLITUDE

Walking in the midst of nothingness around
Not a whistle to be heard, not a cry, not a sound

An ocean of tears forcing its way
Is a blessing for many, as they say

The trauma, the fear of being alone
Preferred anonymity, yet clearly shone

The reasons to smile were now a distant reality
As it always is for a hapless commodity

The wires of distress so closely entwined
Was it a possibility my stars would shine?

The hardships, for life, I was destined to befriend
It seemed would go with me to the very end

As here was a lonesome entombed in calmness
Where the only companion to prize was darkness

Never in my dreams had it scrolled my mind
That beyond my world was a world to find

But why should I cry when there’s none to listen
After all every beginning needs an ignition

As long as I live my heart shall keep pounding
As peculiar as it may seem to me astounding

For the caravan of life must, surely, walk its line
A line so erratic yet so sublime

With life and death now merely apart
The choices at hand were amazingly stark

But here I was still walking against the odds
In hope of Thou, I live Oh God

A Living Ignominy

I live with an ignominy deep down to the core
My sails were aloft but never brought to shore

With grief & remorse I commence a tale untold
As the inclement storms will only manically unfold

A leader of veterans I forged through barriers
As a messiah amongst a legion of warriors

Surging, yet again, against the will of my men
I braved the storm at near full strength

Imbued with pride, instilled with an obsession
My zeal for glory vindicated all transgression

The battle that pursued was but a prelude to disaster
An adversary, not even the greatest could master

So it finally happened, and it mattered no more
The enemy neutralized, the balance restored

All that remained was a carnival of death
Struggling to be complete to its very last breath

None, then, was spared save the lonesome I
Oh! What a pity the killer wouldn’t die

My struggle it appeared would be a mournful drudgery
As I would merely be living my share of the misery

The melancholic waves, underlining their worth
Preserved a fair distance between misery and mirth

Having abandoned, so cruelly, my treasury of successes
I dwell in the dungeons of self-imposed recesses

Death "the Final Frontier"

DEATH: “The Final Frontier”

As far as the naked eye could see
Death with force was there to be

Treasuring in its heart the cries of a score
It has no longing yet longs for more

A reality, a trial that stands apart
None shall dare to stop the cart

As relentless & overpowering as it may seem
It bore an end to my beautiful dream

And the time finally came when the curtains were drawn
The sun kept shining, but without a dawn

Its taste, as humble as its daunting fragrance
Was nothing but a witness to its haunting presence

Such was the splendor of this magnificent feast
Ultimate peace, to say the least

With nothing at all then left for me
Death my dear was there to be
