I miss you still today.
Why did you have to run away?
my love for you is so strong.
Why couldent we have lasted this long?
I thought we would be together forever,
but that must have been a dream.
Now that your gone I dont know what to say or do,all I know is,
"girl I`m lost without you".

"I feel so alone".
We lost you to fast,
So quick everything went by.
I still can`t believe it.
I just wish it all was a lye,
but as the days go past it`s starting to become more clear.
That no matter what I do.
You can never be back here.
I just wish somedays,
you were here for me to talk to, like before
but since your gone we can`t talk once more.
You were my best friend and my little brother,
you were unlike any other.
I shared all my secrets with you, and we had our heart to hearts.
I never thought we would be apart.
I wish you would come back, cause you I can`t replace.
My dear brother I just wish to see your face.

With tear filled eyes, we said our goodbyes.
With tear filled eyes,we asked god why?
With tear filled eyes we can`t believe your gone.
With tear filled eyes,we hope we can stay strong.
Let not the devil take our minds or our heart.
With tear filled eyes,
we must remember that Jesus has been with us from the start.

I can`t describe what I feel, when some speak of you.
I just keep thinking, that this all can`t be real.
I always attended other funerals never thinking that I would be attending yours.
I still remember your perfect smile while they were closing the casket doors.
I wish this would of never happen.
I wish death just wasn`t real,but
only an illusion,with grief that you coulden`t feel,
but we all must play the cards that we`ve been dealt.
Though we wish we woulden`t feel these feelings that others we`ve seen have felt.
Something like this is so hard to face,and would be impossible without gods grace.

You told me goodbye and you didnt love me so.
Am I just dreaming?
Do I have to live in this world alone?

you say your moving away,
why can`t you stay?
we need you now more and more each and everyday.
but i guess she won the game,
so i leave you with the blame.
your walking out like you did before.
Is she worth leaving your family once more.
I know your making a mistake but
i guess thats a chance you have to take.
we were there in the good times and we were there in the bad,
doesn`t that mean anything dad?
you do what you have to do,
but never forget that we are the ones that truly love you.

She was walking through the hallway,
and into the bedroom door,
she looked at the pillow i layed my head on the night before,
then I walked in the room and looked her in the eye,
then I said "baby I love you" then she started to cry.
I said "baby please dont cry it hurts me too,
but someday you will find someone new.
There has to be someone for me and you.
So when your alone think of the times we had and not the bad,
love goes on forever,love goes on and never ends.
So baby tell me can we still be friends?

Why is the world such a sad place?
Why do some only fall in love with thoughs,
who have a pretty face?
Why can`t people see whats on the inside and not the out?
Why is it so hard to take your own route?
Love is such a wonderful thing, but so hard to find,
and when you find out what love feels like,
you relize you have left love behind.
Thoughs you have forgot may have felt this for you,
but you for them they never knew.
For you never felt what love feels like,
and now you do,
but now its to late,
the past has forgot you.

She said she would wait
as I stepped onto the boat.
I said that every week I would write her a note.
She knew there was a chance that i woulden`t come back.
She hated the idea of me fighting for Iraq.
I said to her,
"that somethings are worth dying for,
and that my life I would give,
as long as i`m saving others so they can live".
"though I don`t like war,
we all have to do what we do".
"So honey,
I`ve done what I`ve been sent to do,
though I died in the process,
honey I died loving you".
Those were the words I sent to my love the day before I died,
and at the end of those words it read
"please don`t cry".
