Brave Soul..

I've looked up to her from the start
I keep her with me in my heart,
She is wise beyond her years
in her heart she holds no fears,
Not only strong but beautiful too
her sould so brave, if you only knew,
A native princess as anyone could see
I'm so proud she's part of me,
She makes it better when I feel bad
the best friend I have ever had,
Always in my mind forever with her
for you see she is my Sister.

Britty's Cloud..

See that cloud up in the sky
dancing oh so free,
Do you think it is our Britty
dancing just for me,
See it twirl and move about
are you our baby I have to shout,
We miss you so you have to know
but that's how it had to be,
For you to dance up in the sky
we had to set you free,
We'll watch the sky for a dancing cloud
know it's you and feel so proud,
Spin and twirl dance within
until we all come to meet again.

My Pal..

Reach way down deep inside
pull out all the fears you hide,
Just pull them out and let them go
life will be better before you know,
You are strong you just do'nt see
but your strength is clear to me,
For you my friend are one of a kind
another pal like you I'll never find,
In this life time you will see
by your side I'll always be,
Always and forever through thick and thin
that's how it is now and how it's always been,
So make a call when you need me
and there for you I'll always be.

Deep inside the misty trees
I see the wind and hear the breeze,
I know you're here I feel it's you
within my heart I know it's true,
The day you passed the pain was so deep
night after night I cried myself to sleep,
I know that your free and out of pain
I hope it washed away like rain,
A part of you I know I am
so again and again I Love you Gram.

Dixie's Soul..

The sound of Dixie
the swift wind cries,
She's a strong brave woman
you can see it in her eyes,
A full blood mix I know there's none
but as far as a better Sister I know it can't be done,
We have held together
through thick and thin,
How much do I care for her
where do I begin,
I've seen her go from the bottom of the pit
I'm so glad when the bottom came she knew when she had hit,
She has pulled herself up from out of that hole
and now when I look into her eye's I see my Sisters soul.

Tip your wing to the deep blue sky
your free to roam your free to fly,
Feel the wind upon your face
gliding free in the open space,
Soar above and be our guide
for knowing you holds no stronger pride,
No braver spirit no brighter eyes
in the night we'll watch the skies,
We'll sing for you a native prayer
feel a breeze and know your there,
Watch over us as we would you
for the lives you touched are touched so true.

The Hidden Me

Do I have the courage
to do what it must take,
To hold my own not let it be shown
keep it together for the others sake,
I'm seen as such a strong one
no one could ever know,
How it is I feel inside
I try not to let it show,
I want to retreat with in myself
and hide from all this pain,
Make it all just go away
it's driving me insane,
I can not take this constant ach
that burns within my heart,
To see the way that things are
it's tearing me apart.

For all of you who have lost one they love
put your trust in the heavens above,
They are in the arms of others who passed
out of pain free at last,
To move and dance to laugh and sing
how much joy to our memories they bring,

In a Silent Whisper

To hold your hand
let you know I was there,
To tell you I love you
and I'll alway's care,
To let you know that
I would not leave,
To hold my breath
and begin to grieve,
To watch your life
just slip away,
To know I'll not hold you
again after this day,
To feel my heart
just break in two,
To know what my being there
meant to you,
Goodbye is something
I can not say,
So instead Mom I'll tell you
I'll see you again some day.

Who Am I..

Who am I , I do not know
for you have not told me so,
I saw you once I saw you twice
but that has still not cured my vice,
You are you and she is she
and between the two that makes me,
But is that her or is that you
only you can give that clue,
The pain I feel from missing you
is in my heart so deep,
I think of you most every day
and see you in my sleep,
Do you miss me like I miss you
in your heart if you only knew,
I feel these things so deep inside
I do not let them show,
Do you love me or do you not
am I supposed to know,
These feelings for you I've always had
and at thirty two I need my Dad.
