Broken

How long will I be here?
In the cold and the rain
If I wait long enough
It might numb the pain

I remember the day
When I first found you
Our minds were care free
Our love was true

How wonderful it felt
To know you loved me
Little did I know
How broken I'd be

Worse than a bullet
or skin torn apart
Those can't compare
To the ache in my heart

Dream of Today

Always there
Remembered for years
Behind the smile
Behind the tears

A dream for the future
A hope so strong
I’ve wanted this
My whole life long

I’ve dreamt and dreamt
For today
Yet all I want
Is to get away.

My Love

You're understanding, kind and sweet
A better person I'll never meet
And when I need someone, you're always there
Just because I know you care

You always know what to say to me
We never fight, always agree
And if I could hold you now, I would
I'd feel so warm, so safe, so good

Maybe my feelings I'll be able to say
And you might feel the same way
Right now you may not know, it's true
But I think that I'm in love with you
