Premium Membership - Part 2

Like when Texas passes a law of if you get an abortion, you’ll get jail time and fined.
Like when a man can rape you, do no time, turn you in and collect a reward, if he is so inclined.
Like when Coldplay uses a Metaphor like line
To entertain us and try to inspire us to pass some wretched time

I just wrote this today to prove that I exist
In a world, where people are passed by every day and just to be missed
Welcome to part two of my rhymes with a little twist
Let’s go for some positivety now in a world that insist

The ego likes words like you are pretty, handsome, thin and fit
To blind the mind of not being genuine and quick with witt
Though you were always enough and needed no ones approval
For their on-going games of brutal with some jewels

If no one told you today you were always enough, deserving and loved
I think its time my soul asked for a world refund
I hate that so many people are fighting a constant battle of being comfortable in their own skin
But I completely understand especially when you have those who swear you are committing a MAN-MADE sin

Look I get your religion is sacred to you till kingdom come
But everyone deserves to feel like they have a place in this world and living to a beat of their own drum
Like Billy Joel states
I’d rather laugh with the sinners and cry with the saints

Sinners are definitely much more fun and know how to relate
For they were shunned from their, loved ones when they were just trying to be transparent and great
Sinner is such a wide open term
Used deliriously by some with wretched germs

Some have never even committed a crime
Just self-inflicted wombs to pass by the time
Some labeled as saints have committed some heinous crimes
For which they never got caught to do any rightful time

I’m going off on a tangent but my point to this is
Sometimes those who try to bring you down
Can’t even stand to look at the sight of themselves
So, they have to try insult you in hopes that you rebel

So remember that you always shine bright
Like a star when the moon is out at night
I’m done now and putting this poem to rest
Let’s see if I get accepted and pass this premium test

Ciao!

A Pendulum Swings

A pendulum swings
Right, left, right, left
A bomb flies out and there is no life left to detect

A pendulum swings
Left, right, left, right
A new born baby is being delivered tonight

A pendulum swings
Right, left, right, left
The troops march out to this bloodshed dressed

A pendulum swings
Left, right, left, right
The child picks up a toy gun as they start to fight

A pendulum swings
Right, left, right, left
Shots fired as bullets penetrate the chest

A pendulum swings
Left, right, left, right
The child is drafted with a single invite

A pendulum swings
Right, left, right, left
A body dropped, another soldier confessed

A pendulum swings
Left, right, left, right
A body was found with the next daylight

A pendulum swings
Right, left, right, left
A soldier falls into a slumber severely depressed

A pendulum swings
Left, right, left, right
A body returned with the next noon flight

A pendulum swings
Right, left, right, left
A soldier hung themselves with their last war belt

A pendulum stops
Both lives are gone
A battle they fought
But neither of them won
It wasn’t their war
But neither could outrun
Now they are just a memory
While the snake takes another for fun

Soft Rain

Trigger warning, in remembrance to one ending their own life and losing their battle.

When it softly rains
I can't help but think, what gentle soul died today
How all their pain has been released, how it is now washed away
As they lay there in peace, I can't help my heart as it feels a heavy weigh
Black and white image morphed together and all I can see is gray
You are gone but as long as I am alive your memory will always stay

Rest easy gentle soul
I hope we can do better as humans one day

Suicide and crisis hotline: 988
Please call if you or someone you know is having a hard time.
You are not alone.

Cotton Candy Skies

Cotton candy skies
Birds dancing as they fly
With the mountains behind
O what a sight to see with my very eyes

Art of Deceit

It’s interesting how others learn the art of taking advantage of others
And those who are not aware
It will easily destroy
Especially those who have not learned the patterns of that deceitful language
They have only learned the ability to love
The ability to give
But if someone has learned the art of being deceitful
Please hold on
Don’t let it consume you
Don’t allow it change you
Just recognize it for what it is
It’s not your fault
It’s the situation
You are not crazy
You are not stupid
You were just unaware
You can’t be stupid at something you never learned
Because you yourself grew up in a way where you were shielded from that
Protected even
Some were not that lucky
And some because they never knew real love
molded into that
And now they can’t get themselves out
Because it has become a part of who they are
And whether they are conscious of it or not
They are the only ones that can pull themselves out of it
To unteach themselves
Of what they were never protected from
But you cannot be caught in the crossfires
Because if you do that to yourself
You may not be strong enough to pull yourself out
It takes discipline
It takes emotional training
Its something that is learned through time
Its not for the weak
Sometimes all you have to do is just let go
Know that you cannot fix or change everyone
Don’t ever attach yourself to the outcome that you can’t control
Disappointment can consume you
For the rest of your life
If you allow it to
Just let go

Do You Really

Do you really love me?

Or am I here to substitute a broken throne?
The one you dismantled by leaving her utterly & completely alone.

You cannot substitute another for another and suddenly call it a home.
How dare you use both of us as props while you just sit there & roam.

No I will not be a puppet to your never-ending misery.
And if you find another who manipulates, that is your own karma to your never-ending trickery.

You have to know by now that it starts with you.
To stop hiding the parts of you that remain true.

Do you really love me?

Or am I here so you don't die alone?
Because I am not changing for you when I have my own magic to give to my own throne.

Do not block another's love because you yourself remain lonely.
Your loneliness is not my problem, wake up so you can go back to your one & only.

The world is in alignment when you two are working together.
Just evaluate what's around you & feel the wind in the weather.

You

Look to the future
You are not alone

We are so fixated on looks and labels
That we forget to feel with our soul and to remain our own

Don’t forget to just live and love when you are thrown off your path
Don’t settle for the lonliness, darkness & the unknown

You matter, like with physics or chemistry
When a substance has mass and takes up space by having volumn, like a stone

Take up that space
And let them know you are not going anywhere and that you deserve a place in this world as much as they do, to each their own throne

Remember, you are in control
But if you remain silent and complacent, it will never be shown

Live your brightest
Try not to deviate, stay stagnant or postpone

So don’t give up on yourself
Be patient, love thy self and try not to disown

Much love,

Have You Ever Been In Love

Have you ever been in love?
How to even answer that question
Those who have been in love look crazy to the ones who have not
Where you don't even know why you love the person your soul just won't stop thinking about
You try everything to get away from them, so you don't think about them
Because it's just too painful
Yet something appears and you can't help but to picture them
It sounds like an obsession
And you ask yourself are you sick
Why does this person mean so much to me
Especially when I mean so little to them
Does it ever go away
I hope so
I wish you could just detach yourself from what the soul wants
What it needs
Sure you can move on with your life and start over but memories just exist and you can't stop it when a memory just passes by
But walking through that pain is the best way to get through it
Honoring it for what it is
Not suppressing and coping
Easier said than done
At times I think some are addicted to that pain
How do you know if you are in love
Is it ones looks
Is it ones mind
Is it ones belongings
Is it ones title
Is it ones talents
Love has never been described accurately
Just descibed the best way that someone knew how to articulate and write
Many have spent lifetimes trying to explain love
Where others could just feel it in their souls
But that’s just it
Love is a undescrible phenomenon
It only has ever been able to be felt not explained
And if you dont know oneself you will never know
So I ask you
Is your soul awake
Is your heart open
Is your mind balanced enough to receive it when it shows
Love is suppose to recongize love, so I thought
But when you are hindered
When you are guarded
When you are scared
When you do not trust
When you don't know what unconditional love feels like
You will never be able to recognize love for what it is
And before you know it, if you aren't careful
It will just vanish
Disappear
Never to be seen again
Sure you will find a version of what you felt, from someone else
But will that version last
So many seperations, from those who thought they knew love
But they didn't even know themselves, so how could they know love
It will never quite feel the same
And ultimately you will be alone
Sometimes you will get a second chance
And sometimes you only get one
So, I ask you have you ever been in love?

Write a long poem
And get the premium membership for free
Why is there always a criteria constructed by fellow bees
But we always make it a challenge as we always aim to please

Like writing a poem to rhyme nonsense or just to agree
Can’t we all just express and articulate just to be free
This constant battle of trying to compete
Like gambling on a side walk or dancing in the street

Some of us are just competitive by nature or have something to prove
While others sit in silence, conteplating life and don’t care if they are approved
Some of us were born in darkness and are a little sarcastic at times
Like a little kid proving he can read by finishing this line.

As you can probably tell by now this poem is nonsense and not going anywhere
Just using a bunch of words, so you can have something to read like here and there
Something to take your mind off of the tragedy in the world
Like when you don’t know if you need to laugh or cry to be properly cared for or heard

Like people sleeping in tents out in the streets while starving in the cold
Like when you buy 40 Mcmuffins, but you know you don’t even make a dent and your mind feels like it is about to explode
I’m getting off topic of this premium membership to b
I get the feeling I already won’t be accepted like not having a degree

Like spelling words accurlately to be taken seriously
Or like having mental confusion and rhyming deliriously
Whoops I’m getting off topic again or am I just trying to entertain
Like someone serving you a glass of champayne

Let’s all continue this labeling and box of criteria
Like this world disease with a single dose of bacteria
Like aids introduced into the world in 1981
To take out people who are gay when they just wanted to have fun

Like when people tell you that racism doesn't exist
When lynchings here in America, still actively persist
Like when the world says people are not left behind
But then you have innocent people doing selfless time

Like when you have people in uniforms and in nonuniforms protroling the streets
When a life can be taken by a single beat
Like when people put their limbs in cages of wild animals
Like when those animals are killed and we are suppose to just act casual

Like chopping down 1,000’s of old trees
While living in a capitalist world constructed by the same bees
Like living in survival mode and being quiet to disrespect an abuse
Because we are not going through it, its not my problem that seems to be the on-going excuse

You Decide

You can’t progress
Eyes can see it
Your eyes show as clear as day
You learned the art of taking advantage of others
Maybe consciously maybe unconsciously
Either way you learned it from another that did the same to you
And now you can’t shut it off
Your addicted
The question is
Do you want to love
Do you have the abilty to love
Do you have the ability to grow into something further
Something that can progress this world not destroy it
As some have so brilliantly showed in history thus far
After what has been done
Can you beat it
Or is it something that is going to consume you
You have to acknowledge it for what it is
Its not your fault that you learned it
But it is your fault if you recognize it within yourself and you decide to use it for power
For coercion, for seduction
You will never feel fulfilled
Quite the opposite
And in the end
Its only you that will suffer
You have to realize that by now
Because if you don’t
I fear that you may not see the end of your story
Because you simply don’t want to or you are too stubborn to see
But the end is clear
Now it is time for you to choose
You decide
