Lachriseja Elisaga Poem
Why Care
Tears of joy
Replaced with pain
Chanced happiness
destroyed again
Just not good enough
To be more than a friend.
This is her life
Beginning to end.
Wanted as a lover
But never more
To chance more than that
Closed the door
Tears in the darkness
Tap the cold floor
Loneliness her partner
Forevermore.
Fought so hard,
for so long
I come to you again,
broken and forlorn.
Never did I weaken,
my fight always strong.
But now I crawl to you,
too tired to carry on.
Like a junked old car
Up on bricks,
She's been broken
More than she's been fixed
By her side when the weather was fair.
Now that she's down, nobody's there.
And that is life
When you decide to care.

Lachriseja Elisaga Poem
Hair as long as the Mississippi River,
Eyes as dark as a bayou on a moonless night,
kiss as sweet as a honeysuckle flower,
and as dangerous as a rattlesnake bite.
She's a southern sinful delight.
Baptized by fire,
she ain't like any other,
her kind of lovin'
makes the devil run for cover.
Dancing in the fire light,
by the muddy waters,
she's a Cajun goddess,
and a voodoo queen's daughter.
She'll steal your soul,
with the sway of her hip,
she will take you to hell,
and make you beg for the trip.

Lachriseja Elisaga Poem
A Most Beautiful Storm
A stormy night,
It entrances me.
The thunder rolls through me,
To the very center of my being.
The electricity of the lightening,
Dances along my skin.
Giving me delicious chills.
The rains pour down my body,
Like a lover's fevered kisses.
Tonight of all nights,
I need to feed the storm that has awakened inside me.
I need to touch, taste, and feel my lover all night.
The storm outside & the storm within, rages and demands.
It will not be denied.
There is no rest as long as the storm goes on.
Needing and feeding my desire,
My body hungers for more,
Enough is not enough.
Twisted sweat soaked sheets,
Moans that become screams of unbridled ecstasy,
Calling out to the heavens,
As the thunder crashes,
Lightening flashes,
The pinnacle of the storm reached,
Fury, frenzy, gasping, and clawing.
Till finally, the storm passes,
Leaving behind it's marks.
Flowers glistening with raindrops, As the sun begins to peek from behind the clouds.
It shines down on 2 lovers curled in one another's arms.
Peaceful almost smiling,
As their dreams replay the night of seduction,
And a most beautiful storm.

Lachriseja Elisaga Poem
Her hands don't feel like satin,
she's been working since she was a child.
Never was a pure white angel,
she was always a little wild.
She can fight like a man,
but loves like a woman.
Some people say she's a blessing,
others say she was a bad omen.
Never was suited,
for the debutante ball,
She liked the honky tonks
or a smokey pool hall.
She had to learn too early,
how to throw a punch,
the only girl child,
And the meanest one of the bunch.
She has been hurt and mistreated
from the very start.
But somehow she managed,
to keep a good heart.
Still holds faith
that there's some good in this world.
And there's a place, in a heart,
for a tomboy girl.

Lachriseja Elisaga Poem
Put on your smile little clown,
Paint on your big red lie.
And even when they're gone,
You're not allowed to cry.
Dance little clown,
Be their little Dandy,
And eat your dark emotions,
Like poisoned cotton candy.
Oh little clown, Make them roll with laughter.
Be their favorite toy,
unhappily ever after.
Keep making them laugh little clown,
Never show the strain.
Till you finally have the strength,
To put a bullet in your brain.
They may shed a tear,
Miss your smile and song.
Then the sun rises,
And the next performer goes on.

Lachriseja Elisaga Poem
As I lay me down to dream
Please don't let me fight or scream
Keep the nightmares far away
Don't let me watch
The death replay.
Let me have
One peaceful night
To stay asleep until the light.
Don't let me wake to sob and cry
Over and over
I've watched them die.
Just a few hours in a quiet world
No pink caskets or baby girl.
No body bags stacked 3 feet high
The smell of death from ground to sky.
No cold sweats, shaking in the dark.
The things I've seen has left it's mark.
Docs and pills and counseling,
Don't ever do a single thing.
So you suck it up and just turn cold.
Just let it go, is what I've been told.
You think I really want this pain?
To wallow in hell, going insane.
Not be able to FEEL like you?
I would have already,
If it was that easy to do!!
But tonight,
Just let me sleep,
Dear lord let it be dreamless and deep.
