Dancing Clown

Put on your smile little clown, Paint on your big red lie. And even when they're gone, You're not allowed to cry. Dance little clown, Be their little Dandy, And eat your dark emotions, Like poisoned cotton candy. Oh little clown, Make them roll with laughter. Be their favorite toy, unhappily ever after. Keep making them laugh little clown, Never show the strain. Till you finally have the strength, To put a bullet in your brain. They may shed a tear, Miss your smile and song. Then the sun rises, And the next performer goes on.
