Ishwar Prakash Poem
Once I l gazed into the mirror
looked at my eyes,
there were two gems.
One was my mom and one were you.
Now I'm sitting beside my mom,
half blind.

Ishwar Prakash Poem
Scripted is the flow of time
Scripted is the rule of nines
Scripted is the thought of the Divine
and She scripted it in 0s and 1s

Ishwar Prakash Poem
Locking my lips with her
was casual
like the other ten,
but then she closed her eyes
and held my hand.
It put my heart on a chokehold.

Ishwar Prakash Poem
The man was blind in love,
and she became his Braille
But how could a blind man
see the true colours of the pages?
They were all revealed when the light
of her friend's car fell on his eyes
On the passenger's seat, his book was on fire.

Ishwar Prakash Poem
Cold,
Was the look in her eyes
When their eyes first met
Cold,
Was the skin of her palm
When he first held her hand
Cold,
Was the touch of her lips
When they first kissed
Cold,
Was the brush of her skin
When he felt it with his fingertips
She siphoned his warmth
And left him shivering
When she stepped out for her next rodeo.

Ishwar Prakash Poem
Oh! Just come here and see,
these hands are tied,
tied with a rope fragile than glass.
Someone, walk upto me,
I'm pleading, while I'm on my knees,
untie this knot and set me free.
I see this rope is knitted with three strands,
the first is promise, the second is hope
yet the strongest one is morality.
Losing them once made me free
and now they're back, laughing at me
waking up my lost humanity.
they're like a leash on a man
But I'm ruthless can't you see?
Oh! lost Devil rise up again,
Rise up again and set me free.

Ishwar Prakash Poem
“Still got that tin box that we used to ash cigarettes in college” she asked.
"Yeah, it still carries the ashes of my tenderness that I burned with every cigarette I lit after losing you." he replied.
Silence pronged, lips touched, but this time he could not close his eyes.

Ishwar Prakash Poem
Lying down with my eyes open,
spending my day in the dark
Then she comes close,
follows her a hint of spark
Gleaming my face with the light of her smile,
she holds my hand
It starts to rain as I turn around,
I could hear her heels clopping on the ground
The rumble of thunder made me realize,
I was dreaming of her with my open eyes
She left my bed, when I was asleep like dead,
cashed out my soul, leaving tears to shed
To wipe my eyes, I moved my head,
my vision was blurry and I was soaked in red
The growing noise gave me a clue,
The crowd was restless to pass through
There was no thunder, there was no dew,
The clouds were my veins
and the blood was dripping through

Ishwar Prakash Poem
I let her go
To cover up my scars
I assumed she was a foe
The stones of craving
I crushed under my teeth
I stole the parts from her breath
when it was hard for me to breathe
I covered my face with smile
when all I wanted was to sob
They say
'You did a Devil's job'
I want to make amends for what I did
love the next one to come, the way I never did
It's not going to be hard
to swim down the old shore
They say
'You're not a bad person at your core.'
