The Final Discussion

Two faced fox from beneath the shadows
Prepackaged blush the manipulative wallows
Irrational cupidity earthed in lies
Imminently causing fitting cries

Acute observations to every detail
Questions asked but to no avail
Reprehensible plight wears temperance thin
And convincingly accounts for the insurmountable win

Clarity of worth is only there in the lack of
Contradictions and assumptions strikingly thereof
In effect attempts are marked as feeble
Noteworthy endeavors deemed as terrible

Given that honesty less jest were sought
If only beyond the bridge were given thought
Contexts beyond the cusp could have been prevented
The discussion ends when this poem has ended

A Beautiful Goodbye

A Beautiful Goodbye

As I stare into her eyes I feel the sense of yearning
To know exactly what keeps those eyes gazing at me
Maybe a new sense of truth by careful discernment
Of two hearts juxtaposed in the sweetest disposition

I lean in to feel the warmth travel between us
With each breath she takes I am overwhelmed
That such a being like me could ever love another
And be blessed to enjoy the long hoped reciprocation

With every graceful twitch of her body wrapped in mine
Jolts awareness into my already prancing nerves
Finding a modest place to share and feed
The passion that reveals itself in the form of a sigh

As we grasp each other tighter with the gentlest of ease
Knowing that forever can be felt in this way
I take the last attempt to feel our pressed skin
And keep faith that there will be more goodbyes

My Hot Friend

Different pretenses brought us together
Hadn’t expect we’d last until this forever
This feels new as far as I can remember
Yet spontaneous like the weather

We branched out so innocently
And found out we clicked quite quickly
We saw the mix and matched very nicely
And saw the coincidences much timely

I feel safe and comfortable
Near a friend so admirable
Like someone from a fable
I wouldn’t let go even if able

With you is time I’m willing to spend
I don’t even have to pretend
Never say goodbye dear friend
I know you’re there until the end

Sub

Distracting uncertainty
Distorting all sanity
Inexists one’s guard
And begins to scar

Profoundly ambiguous
Blind-throttled continuous
At once hormones raging
You see yourself changing

Desperation comes naturally
With uncontestable dexterity
Time is the enemy
But bitterly cannot be fought

Rationale defends contradiction
As if life were fiction
Hypocrisy is guilty pleasure
Affection is leisure

This is no violation
Of an obscene relation
Love is beyond explanation
Optimal not with infinite iteration

Apart

Longing astray from the corners of my thoughts
I try to accept what is
Distance, separation and apart willingly so
I fight to accept what is

Striving towards the epitome of comfort
I try to reject what is
Dependency, rejection and ungratified unwillingly true
I mourn to accept what is

Parting from solace I watch you
I try to catch what is
Away, distant, and tangential believably painful
I attempt to fathom what is

Humbling to partake I run to you
I try to take part in what is
Beautiful, spectacular, and fascinatingly a part
I dare to challenge what is

What Inspires Me: the Fruits of Life

Makes you surpass your sane emotions
Beyond the feeling of unsure notions
Blurs the distinction between truth and lies
Puts meaning into hallow cries

Some seemingly fresh
But not explicitly dressed
Some familiar enough
But notably tough

Something only we notice
But not summer solstice
Something only we can see
Or so we believe it to be

Someday revealing
Our own destination
Someday concealing
Our true intention

Destitute of any pretense to wit
No way to grasp it, best to accept it
Outside the box, an alternative idea
Ever only yours to some degree

Compunction

The exemplar compunction of sorts released
Exhumed from the shambles of the mind diseased
By the comrade trusted with all dear life
Even after death to care for his wife

Bonds and bridges tightened and fastened
Steady paced breaths and healing hastened
Prevailing fellowship pronounced as light
Nothing worth losing without an even flight

Streaming change will not address
The questions of life brushing distress
After all has been said and all has been done
The true test of character has only begun

Favor

A conjunction of interests fills the hallow cries of the pleading
Dissonant voices squall the eerie tendrils of agony as if the windswept heath adjourns its
decay

Degenerate efforts subdue the coexistence of love and hate
Concupiscence unsheathes its weary self and cascades into the malevolent maelstrom

But all is silent in my asylum of thoughts
Shrieks never seemed as beautiful as the dawn disappears

Lethargic moans jolt my consciousness
Light has never been so bright except in the midst of darkness

It was the best dream I ever had
The problem was; it was only a dream

All

Absolute and whole-heartedly
Yet savoring each moment
Wholly and free
Yet only satisfying the right

Exclusive and only
Yet embracing the justness
Wholly and entirely
Yet welcoming sweet captivity

Aggregate and gross
Yet clasping the reality
Completely and entirely
Yet encompassing the feeling

Perfectly and utterly
Yet taking joy and ecstasy
Lovingly and beautifully
Yet nothing at all

Dreamless

I.
Tonight I am yours all to blame
See me through this morbid shame
Deep inside my misery, you come to complain
Bringing my hopes up then putting them down the drain.

Chorus (1)
Accept my mediocrity
I am dreamless, forever dreamless

II.
I dare run away from me
So far not even I can see
The doors are now shut for me, the uselessness I’ve grown to be
Why must I stay for all of thee, I plague this earth, plague this earth with me

Chorus (2)
Accept my mediocrity
I am shameless, forever shameless

III.
Despised, the forgotten son
What once was, now is gone
Fight the will, unwanted will, the will to carry on
Life goes on, the same old song, but my memory will soon be gone

Chorus (3)
I am shameless, forever shameless
I am dreamless, forever dreamless

Bridge
One last thing, I dare to show
One last thing you don’t need to know

Chorus (1)
Chorus (2)
