Just Enough

I like you enough to compromise for you, and make sacrifices for you if need be.
Enough to miss you incredibly when we're apart, no matter what length of time it's for, and
regardless of the distance.
Enough to smile at the mere thought of you, or call from you at the right time.
Enough to spend time with you, be there for you when you need or want me, and never,
ever disrespect you or lie to you.
Enough to know this is not a relationship, but a mutual agreement amongst friends, an
intimate friendship.
I like you this much, JUST ENOUGH, not to fall in love with you.

Love and Lust

Love and lust intertwine like the valves of the heart
Love more powerful, yet just as deceitful
Lust is fun and energetic
Love leans toward emotions and time
Lust, a mental and physical chemistry that will not last
Confusion is what both love and lust can cause
Somedays I love you, however, it's not true
I lust after you day in and day out, for you love another
Love and lust intertwine like the valves of the heart
Love or lust, which is our lifeline?

Roller Coaster

Making love to you is like the thrill of a roller coaster
Intensity and nervousness as we reach that initial drop
Twists and turns of excitement never knowing what's next
Hearts pound, we laugh, I scream
The ride comes to and end, you want to go again?

Afraid

When I first saw you, I was afraid to meet you.
When I first met you, I was afraid to let you hold me.
When you first held me, I was afraid to let you kiss me.
When you first kissed me, I was afraid to let you make love to me.
When we first made love, I was afraid I would fall for you.
Knowing I can't fall for you, I'm afraid what we have will end.
