Rainbow of Dreams

Sleep is good.
but when sleep brings nothing but fear, and hatred.
weeks go by, you forget the weeks.
when the weeks, become years it maybe to late.
So, when the door opened, i saw into hell.
but was it real or was i still dreaming?
It's now into what feels like many years, but how can i tell?
it's so dark, i can't see my hands, but i'am not sure, i have hands?
I hear low moans of suffering, as i hear the pain, and feel the dampness.
i can sense i'm not the first, the smell of death is all around.
If your eyes could open, you would know the death,
and wear the fear.
Your eyes may close, but will they see forever?
When they go dark, can you feel the life?
The life that died with the arrival of the light.
do you see the rainbow, as it shines from your eyes?
So, may the shine stay with you, if it fails to reflect from your soul,
death is all you have...

Nameless

Who prays for the nameless dead ?
Who names the nameless ?
Do john and jane doe, have a big family ?
Have you ever cried for the nameless,
or said good-bye to their souls ?
I died today, but i can't cry for my soul
I don't know my name, do you know me ?
You can cry for me, if you will!
Place your hand over my heart, pray for sunshine
When the sun comes, ask my name
I will always remember the feel of life,
if only for a short while
IT was warm and glowing, now dark and cold
MY eyes that could once see, are only blind
I feel no warmth, and see no light
Only thoughts of nameless and homeless souls
All lost to nameless places, yet to find home
Their cold eyes look upon my nameless soul
Now that i'am gone, do you remember my name ?
Can i now have a place to rest ?
Now that i know that i'am gone ?
I have been given my name !
Do you know it ?

My Lord, My Savior

MY LORD, MY SAVIOR
NOTHING CAN COMPARE, TO THE PAIN YOU BEAR
MY LOVE FOR YOU, IS DEEPER THEN OCEANS BLUE
THANK-YOU FOR BELIEVING ME, WORTHY
TO ACCEPT YOUR LOVE, AND FORGIVENESS
MY LORD , MY SAVIOR
YOU BROUGHT ME OUT OF DARKNESS, TO LIGHT
YOUR WORDS FALL LIKE RAIN, RAISING FLOWER'S,
UPON THE DESERT FLOOR
MY LORD, MY SAVIOR
THANK-YOU FOR BRINGING ME, OUT OF THE WILDERNESS
FOR GIVING ME SHELTER, IN YOUR LOVE
YOUR BLOOD RUNS OVER ME , WASHING MY SINS AWAY
MY LORD , MY SAVIOR
FROM DUST TO FLESH, IN THE IMAGE OF YOU
THANK-YOU FOR THE GRACE, THAT FLOWS IN MY SOUL
I GIVE YOU MY LIFE,
LORD IN HEAVEN I'LL SEE YOU!

Hard Good-Bye's

Good-bye is hard to say, it seems to final
As I've traveled through this life,I KNOW!
there are times, times when it must be said!
When you miss those times, as i have done
It hurts more than any pain, I've ever known
Good-bye is hard to say, sometimes it needs to be said
it has to be said, it must be said
I've never wanted to say it,but i know i must say it
for i know it's the only way to ease the pain
The pain of your loss, which i will carry always
SO, good-bye my brother, good-bye for now
You will always be in my heart, and mind
someday we will meet again, and never have to
say, good-bye...

Victory Train

You hear it, comming up the track
You see it pulling into the station
climb on up, all aboard
Let's go riding, on the victory train
Were riding the train though the clouds
Were following the track, across the stars
as we pass, we see your shadow, on the face of mars
look out the window, with delight
I'm to meet god tonight
Give your sin's to the father
Seek the love, take the gift, thank the lord
Leave your troubles at the station
Climb on up, all aboard
C'mon let's go riding
Let's go riding on the victory train

For the Grace of God

Thank-you lord, for taking me out of this wasteland
thank-you lord, for opening my heart to your love
thank-you lord, for giving your life, so i should live
As you watch I'am safe, until you carry me home
Lord, in you i gain my strenght
For you i shall, shout to the hills
In you i stand tall, and sure
From you i gain wisdom, and share with the world
You are the rock of my salvation
In you my life matter's,I'am worthy
MY GOD of hope, MY GOD of love
MY GOD of mercy, MY GOD above
You sent your son, to die for me
You only ask, i seek my identity
With your grace, I've found my way
I'll be with you, come judgement day
"there but for the grace of god i go"

Quest For the Gate

Leave the gate open for me, smile don't flee
Cause the train waits for no one
The one who rings the bell, winds the clock as well
Time passes slowly like an uphill river
Stand and wait, ticket in silver
The one who sings, only loves alone
When the song stops, the train slows
The serpents strike, brings lesson's deep
Light springs forth from the sky below
Angel's strum harps of gold, clouds rumble red
Leave the gate open for me, smile don't fear
Train rolls across the badlands
Heart tears flood, days remembered long
Love flames burn dark passages deep
She who dances, waits for no prize
Darkness falls upon pages written
Lighting glows crackling, as thundering music wanders
Time sands spill, from mirrored fingers
Blue-black waters wash over cliff's of white
Spinning stars, meld into a stairway for one
Beacon's flash bringing pathways to sight
Flowing robes and angels wings
Crystalline eyes, voices so sweet
They've come to greet, my bleessed soul
Come! We've left the gate open for you.

A Price Must Paid

I hear them say, I was once a very bad and evil man
I knew of only the way's, i was taught
Now, i know only of the death, and of the blood
I, see it in my eyes, and feel it on my hands
I have never known of the pain, and of the sorrow
That i now feel from the mother's and the father's,
who, cry for their children. those of whom, i have taken
I now only laugh, and bring more pain,
To all who bring the sweet promise of gifts
I sit here and watch, those of you who think,
only their own shall survive
I bring pain by the thousands folds
To those who buy life and sell only death,
I no longer feel for you.
I won't feel the hate you have for me!
Only the pain which you now bare.
Pain is a reward for he, that has stolen life
I , now have the reward,
i traded their life's for.

Seaching

I'VE BEEN UP NORTH, I'VE GONE BACK EAST
I'VE BEEN DOWN SOUTH, I'VE GONE OUT WEST
I'VE BEEN AND GONE
BUT, I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND, THE ROAD HOME
IT'S SO HARD TO FIGURE, A ROAD I'VE TRAVELED SO OFTEN
I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THAT PLACE
THE PLACE I THOUGHT, I KNEW SO WELL
IT SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN, BY ALL
HOW CAN THIS BE ? IT WAS OUR PLACE
EVEN WITH ALL THAT I'VE LEARNED
I'VE NO IDEA, WHERE IT'S GOTTEN OFF TOO !
NO ONE SEEM'S TO KNOW, WHERE IT IS,
WAS, OR HOW IT CAN BE FOUND
IT'S A ROAD LESS TRAVELED NOW
NO FAMILIAR SIGHTS OR LANDMARKS
NOW ONLY STREETS WITH NO NAMES,
PEOPLE WITH NO FACES
HOMES WITH NO HISTORY,
FAMILIES WITH NO STORIES
MAYBE IT'S DISSAPEARED FOR A REASON ?
NO ONE GOES THERE ANYMORE,
BECAUSE NO ONE LIVE'S THERE ANYMORE
ALL HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN, BURIED IN THE PAST
NEVER TO BE VISITED AGAIN.

The Game

So, you want to play the game?
you do know the deck, is already stacked against you?
but you try anyway, you put your first dollar down.
before the dollar even hits the table, you've lost.
Play again sir?
you've lost long before your next card, is even dealt.
so, you go again this time, you put down a five.
then you drop aten, a twenty, then a fifty.
all the time saying, this is the hand.
My lucks going to change, but it won't, nor will it ever!
So, before you know it, it's you dealing out the cards.
setting the deck, as you wait, you start to grin.
As you see that first dollar hit the table.
new player, big money, here we go sir! good luck!
dealer hits 16, a 5 of spades, house wins!
Play again sir? Yes, then here we go!
Player bets a five, a ten....
Time and luck, you always have more of one than the other.
It's never the one you need....
