Village Girl

Small village girl in a medieval land,
taking orders from other's plans,
picking the wheat, feeding horse hay,
twirling through the forest night and day

Teenage village girl hands the men a drink,
hoping tonight she could finally get some sleep,
but the guys are drunk and wish to dance,
she is terrified but out she pranced

The village woman crosses strange worlds,
creatures never seen and people never heard,
One day the woman finds herself in front of King,
He takes her in, loving and caring...
she finds him sweet as can be

Nerdy Girl

How rude and obnoxious, she was, to push me down,
step on me as if i was her rug,
i might be a nerd but that doesn't give her the right,
inside and out we're all the same, right?

Only geeks have been there and i'm sick and tired of it,
the way the cheerleaders stare, looking like witches with no moles no zits,
i am beautiful but i hide from that with glasses and grades,
but it doesn't matter, right? we're all the same?

Sitting in class, watching the teacher read,
i watch him struggle as he's trying to teach,
to a class full of students who don't even care,
that they're all ignorant and i can't bare

the thought of them leaving,
as mr and miss royalties,
i should be respected, i shouldn't be teased
so i grab my backpack and leave the room in a haste,
the bell finally rings but i don't look back anyways,
because BUMP just like that i fall down,
looking up i can see now,
my angel has come and he takes me away,
where devil children no longer play

I'm in heaven, i'm sured of it,
and no one is mocking me, we're all into this,
and our white wings spreadout and we soar,
and then my angel kisses me, and i'm a goddess, geek no more

The Evil Queen

Strangers:
I feel as though she may never change,
Never give good a chance.
I feel as though we play a game?
One I've played in the past.

Friends:
I swear her eyes tell me no lies,
I think they all are wrong.
Yes, if she feigns at least a try...
Behind her I'll stay strong.

Family:
Until the day she overcomes,
Her past and her evil deeds,
I'm patiently standing all alone,
And often she'll stand with me.

Taking a Test

nails being chewed, answers being scribbled,
nothing is new, but this question on the table,
it isn't math, or language perhaps,
but what is it then?

i keep repeating the question, in my mind,
its funny how it feels like, i left something behind,
is it my knowledge or breakfast, a good and ready start,
is it my keys to the house, keys to the car?

what is it i'm missing, that i need for today or this test,
maybe i didn't sleep too well, i need some rest?

or maybe just maybe, i need to be encouraged,
to have my parents tell me you'll be the best,
no that couldn't be it, its another quest.

then why am i staring, at this question below,
feeling like i'm missing something, something's troubled,
and then it hit me, like batter hits the ball,
i didn't chain up my dog at all.

and this question it says, the dog ran down the street,
and where do they go, where do they meet,
oh no, i thought, as i got to my feet,
thinking about testing week...

oh well, i said,
as i went through the door,
my dogs and my family,
matter more....

Sitting On the Swing

laughing a joyous laugh
a giggle escapes my mouth's path
swinging on this swing i do
another swing here by you
with the sky as dark as my mother's hair
playing here then playing there
with one small swing takes another flight
im here with you on this wonderful night

Flowers Grow Old

flowers
beautiful, bold
flowing, living, breathing
life, nature, history, time
fighting, trying, decaying
soft, brown
dead

Let Me Make This Clearer

let me make this clearer for you,
I never want to be,
a simple girl whose lost her way,
this is not (my) reality

let me make this better for you,
whatever shall you mean,
I never want to see your face,
in my life, eternity

let me make this happier for you,
i'm sure a woman will come along,
she'll fall head over heels,
and you'll just see another thong

let me have my fun,
as you have with me,
i'll break you to pieces,
cause I strive for eternity

Driving Down Withered Roads

Driving down withered roads,
Off in the pond sing the toads,
My heart races as I turn to the left,
In goes the car, the pond will collect,
My car, myself, and other bodes

Songs Always End

Off in the distance-
A song can be heard, silence!
The song is over now...
