Springtime

Running through the grass
And trying to catch my breath
The warmth surrounds me.

Away Fom Him

She locks herself away from everything.
Anything that'll remind her of him is gone.
No one hears her scream out in pain
Because they never see what she's been through.
Every night she lies awake
Just wishing for the end to come.
No more hurting over something that wasn't real.
No more pain over someone who didn't love her.
Her parents come to her door, she doesn't answer.
They don't see the scarlet lettering
"No more pain!" she writes. "I'm finally free!"
The door gets busted down and they find her body
The empty whiskey bottle, the shot glass, the razor blade,
The bloodstained sheets, the ice-cold corpse,
They're all too much for her mother, her father.
They had no idea of her inner torment
So how could they help their only child mend her broken heart?

Long For Death

I want to die
To hang from a tree
I want to die
Lord Death is calling me.

I don't want to live
This body has drawn it's last breath
I don't want to live
For there is nothing left.

All hope is gone
Lost in unromantic bliss
All hope is gone
I've never felt pain like this

My soul has perished
Gone in heartbreaking love
My soul has perished
I shall fly forever like the lonesome dove.

Alone

No one wants to be alone,
But for some it can't be helped.
Far away from everyone else
They float all by themselves.

I know what it is to be alone,
To feel like no one cares.
But I can surely say to you
That there's not always someone there.

I have walked the empty streets
And seen those considered unknowns.
So I can confidently tell
That even they can be alone.

No one wants to be alone,
But for some it can't be helped
Far away from everyone else
We walk all by ourselves.

Fall Into You

I fall into your loving arms,
So gentle, yet so firm.
Can I stay here forever?
Many times before, those I loved have gone.
Broken, beaten, scarred, I was.
But then I saw your smiling face
And the clouds began to part.

I can smile again,
My carefree laugh mingling with your dark.
Meeting the other's eye
Things communicated, unspoken;
A gift, a secret passed.
Noone else can or will ever know.
Our truest selves hidden behind a mask,
In the darkest shadows of the mind.
Known to none other than that whose soul is bound.

With our knowledge, majestY, and abilities,
Everything will be okay.
Yin and Yang as one:
Depression and Death;
Loss and Lust;
                                Equals.
But can love overcome authority?

True Love

I used to think that you were my Edward Cullen,
My Alexander Sterling.
But now I see that you're a Jacob Black,
A Jagger Maxwell,
And that your going nowhere fast.
I can't believe that I let you lead me so far astray,
Astray from the true course in my life.
Is there any part of me left unbroken?
Is she absolutely necessary to your survival?
Can't you see that I'm just as good for you as she is?
Or are you too blind?

Left For Dead

Not a tear have I shed
Since you left me in ruins.
I can't believe what happened!
Torn, broken, collapsed, unloved;
That's how you left me.
You're always confusing me
So I don't know what's real and isn't.
In truth, tell me,
Do I deserve this torment?
This cruel, uncaring torture?
Nothing you can say
Will help me fix my broken heart.
A world without love is hard to imagine,
But a life without love is all to easy.
I'm lost,
I'm too far gone to be saved,
I'm left for dead.

Death

Death is warm,
And cold at the same time.
Death is wonderful,
And sorrowful.
Some marvel at the beauty and grace of it,
Some fear and abolish it.
Death is graceful,
And clumsy.
I shall welcome it
When the time comes;
But not now.
Beauty and grace,
Sorrow and fear,
Death is unavoidable,
Inevitable,
And sorrowful.

Forever Adrift

Adrift and alone with you
On an endless sea.
Stuck in a boat with you
‘Cause the world lies in ruins.
Should we be together forever
As was planned?
Or should we go on like nothing
Ever happened between us?
You took my life from me and I took yours;
A life for a life.
And we’re both here now
So let’s make the most of it.
Why am I tormented so
By you who took me from myself?

Everything went wrong
Because you chose another.
You chose another because I didn’t satisfy you.
Was she better?
Was she worth it when she left you in ruins?
Now your eyes are downcast and sad,
Full of anger and grief,
But there’s nothing I can do
Or will do.
‘Cause you left me to the nothing.

The endless sea consumes my thoughts
For every day, night, second, and minute.
For an hour my eyes wander to your face
And I think, What did I ever see in you?
The answer to this is simple.
I saw a dear friend;
One that thought friendship could never be enough
And someone who could love me.
But I was wrong
And nothing can change that
‘Cause I won’t be broken ever again.

Broken is how you left me.
Torn, broken, collapsed,
I wasn’t myself.
I can never be myself
With you around me.
You surround me in life;
You surround me in my mind.
I can’t help but dream about you,
I can’t help but think about you,
I can’t help anything about you.

Everything is wrong!
You were supposed to be mine!
But you’ll never see what was meant to be;
What should have happened
Because the world is lost on you.
The world is lost,
I am lost.
I am nothing.

Watching

It hurts me to see you so,
I swear it's true.
Watching and waiting is all I can do.
They always leave you but I never do.

I see you cry when you don't think I see,
All the tears you shed, they hurt me.
A comfort to you I can never be.
Your eyes, when me they see,
They scream, "Thou dost knowst me!"

Seeking, always, what's in a name,
Forever playing a forbidden game.
Holding back what we know is truth,
Getting other's to believe is like pulling tooth.

So here I sit and watch,
Seeing every blot.
Watching as you try and hide
Everthing that you keep inside.
Wishing that in me you'd find
Someone in which you can confide.
I have nothing for which you must be afraid.
