Angela Tune Poem
Daylight streams across the sky so blue
Tulips brighten in the morning dew
Hopscotch played upon the streets of dust
Hammering blacksmith of the old dark rust
Seashells picked for a picture frame
Rivers plunging over greenest plain
Soft swollen grapes the juices do cascade
Moonbeams dance upon the streets we played
Sun soaked skin, smells of peaches and powder
Lime soaked gin and ice the streets get louder
Dancing and swirling in my chiffon skirt
Hair loose down my back I flirt, I flirt
Flirting with life with all the beauty and pazazz
Greeting the morn with all the gusto I can grab
Knowing I’m here not forever, not forever
Come dance with me float like a feather, together

Angela Tune Poem
I have a new friend on poetry soup
Whom I happen to think is beyond a hoot
I wrote a wee poem just the other day
And my friend confused did question the say
With laughter abounding the mistake was foretold
The words of my poem did seem such was to unfold
But oh what joy of my lovely new friend
to question and ask, she did not offend
Instead she’s brought joy, joy to my heart
Because a good friend asks, and thats smart
(For you Deb!)

Angela Tune Poem
I love you, I love you,
I love you, I do
I love you, I love you,
I love you it’s true
I love you, I love you,
in so many ways
I love you, I love you,
I’m counting the days
I’m counting the days,
The days of excitement
I’m counting the days,
The days of enticement
I’m counting the days,
Until I meet you
The days when my loneliness,
All will be through
We’ve never encountered
Nor uttered a word
But I know your out there,
So I’m just not scared!

Angela Tune Poem
That thing when you discover a new poet
That thing when they help open your heart
That thing when you knew from the start
That your words too might be poetic, lovely
And a tadge smart.
Some healing to be done,
So was guided to a poet
Who’d have ever known,
some poets really show it
show through the unsaid word,
the code within it all
The code that sais I’m fragile
Lovely but never ever small
I’m huge, I’m lovely, I have a say,
oh how I’m glad of you today
Sometimes they are right in front of your nose
Not posing, not needing, just subtle with repose
I adore a poet who doesn’t show off
I adore a poet who brushes off the sloth
Who cares not for a comment or feedback untrue
They are just wonderfully, wonderful
Like me and like you.

Angela Tune Poem
Hey dad, how are you?
Give me a nudge, is it true
Is it true your still with me
Knocking on the silver tree
You’ve been gone awhile
No mourning I
Haven’t a clue, don’t know why
I’ve never felt too sad you see
It must be cos your here with me
A poet too, was how you told
How you told your love so bold
Little ditties written on scraps
Left about to give us laughs
Maybe I can’t go there
Maybe I can’t mourn
But I’m inclined more to think
Your here through my poems
To Transform!

Angela Tune Poem
Do you still love me?
“Don’t answer that”
Do you still see me?
“Don’t answer that”
Does my skirt look ok today?
“Don’t answer that”
Am I in summertime?
“Don’t answer that”
Is it my birthday?
“Don’t answer that”
Is this truly just a game?
“Don’t answer that”
My Lucy’s gone now
She is not there
I answer not
For she don’t care
World of her own
Some joy in that
Despair I feel
Engulfed I’m not
Do you still love me?
“Don’t answer that”
Are you my friend?
“Don’t answer that”
When,will I go home?
“Don’t answer that”
My Lucy’s gone now
I bend my neck
I walk the streets
Oh what the heck
The turn of the key
Oh yes I’m home
I make the tea
Kettle drone, Kettle drone

Angela Tune Poem
Valentines comes but once a year
Or so we are told my dear, my dear
But why highlight this one said Day
Then all year long just pray and pray
Pray those moments to always be
Pray to be seen yes you and me
Pray for an opportunity to again take flight
To pick up sticks of love and light
I always sort of liked Valentines
But was often just very inclined
To go along with the status quo
Of anothers idea of what is so
Hypnotic notes of perfumed rose
I don’t like them they hurt my nose
The thorns they accidentally stick
Upon my nostril, come quick come quick
I cannot be your projected beauty
Nor be your sweet desired cutesy
Its boring, strange and not for me
But I’ll hug and hold under the.....
Maple tree

Angela Tune Poem
I’ve lost my flow
Where did it go
Nothing left to say
Numerous rhymes
Said on time
Brain cells ramping free
I’ve ran out of words
Can’t think of a thing
Hmmmmm let me see
Cannot be forced
Nothing to report
So will just have a cup of tea

Angela Tune Poem
Today’s the day Im clear to say
I’ll pop on fresh pink sheets
Light a candle, sit a while
And think of loved ones to meet
To meet them with an open heart
To say farewell, with a touch of grief depart
I may see you some more one day
But for now I’m sorting out my day
The day to bring in love and softness
To bring in strength & peace some lostness
A complex mix of all these things
Resides in homes and outdoor swings
Forests green, sunlight and showers
Walk with me, let’s find our powers
Powers of perception, peace and love
Bring forth all this Heavenly Love

Angela Tune Poem
Peanuts on my petticoats
Stardust on my shorts
Tulips on my turtleneck
Roses on the rise
Peeked perfecting tulips
Wrapped within my arms
Popped inside a water jug
Let’s seat now in my charms
Charmed by your sweetness
Charmed by your fun notes
Charmed by your smell of sandlewood
Charmed by strong warm arms
Picked peanuts off my petticoat
The ones we dropped after tea
Wrapped between your loving arms
No table between you and me
