Oscilating Startup

When I took my pen, to jot down my feelings,
I was a bit hesitated, because’ my mind was yelling,
At me, giving its appeal, that
Is this possible for you to be so poetic??!!
But my heart was against my mind,
Giving me a sign for my proceedings.
With the high spirits in my heart,
I began to start, my poetic glimmer,
Sometimes, in a dilemma to start, or should I depart??

I eventually decided that I would set a benchmark,
With my penned sparks.
I started to put all my darker shades and the brighter too,
Starting with the two, later on few,
And still it continues….

I don’t want to be the sun or the moon,
Hoping, for at least to be the twinkling star among the many
unknowingly known.
Where I could feel that, now I am done,
As a receiver of love and appreciation,
In more Tons!!

An Awkward Conversation With Mother Earth

Stripped and scorched and choked and abused, Peeled and poisoned and plundered and misused, Pillaged and robbed and burned and Murdered by degrees,
We all are cruel human beings, and that we need to agree.

Bound to her by gravity, she being part of us,
Formed from the same clay, she is our mother thus,
Lungs take in her breath, her ocean runs within our veins,
We depend on her, be it green fertile plains or good rains.

I asked Mother Earth, why are you looking so sticky,
Let me know your problems, and I shall help out quickly,
Said She if you could recycle…That’s easy to do,
But insane I, too busy to recycle, wish I could help you.
She pleaded for nontoxic fertilizers to be used in the yard,
I apologized, for it’s too hard,
She suggested organic food and electric car,
But poor me, I have to travel so far.

Said she while groaning in pain,
Why Humans have turned out to be disdain,
She marked that she was once a paradise, all lush and green,
Now decaying and rotting and it’s a horrible sight to be seen.

She is sobbing and we need to save her,
As we have to live here, for years and years,
We have to stop using plastic, we need to purify the air,
Can get rid of landfills and show her that we care.

The earth is our paradise; we need to care for it more,
Then and only then Mother Earth will not cry anymore.

Friend

A friend is like an angel that's there to guide you,
Someone you'll trust out of a few.

They are the one with whom you laughed the most,
The one who thrill you with the stories of ghost..

Remember the days of hectic schedule but, still had fun,
You love to stick together to observe the setting of the sun…

You wish to relive and recreate those moments at the hangout place where you hog food,
They are the Sole creatures who can grapple with your all swings of mood.

The scandals you discussed, the war and fights you had, the jokes and pranks you made,
These were the days you treasure much, and will not let it ever to fade.

Truly, A friend is like a star that twinkles and glows,
Or maybe like the ocean that gently flows,
A one, who about us, everything knows,
A one, who is always there in your highs and Lows..

A Losing Game

With love we stayed,
With love we grew apart,
We knew this,
Still stayed in obligations,
Begged in agony,
Apart lastly...
You knew,
I didn't care about your ways,
In the name of love,
I begged you to stay,
But loving you,
Was a losing game...
And oh darling,
You saw it coming,
My thoughts racing,
Never matching your plans,
Signs we ignored,
To stay warm on cold nights, but
In the name of love,
You let me go,
'Cause you already knew,
Loving me was a losing game...

The Last Spell

Losing to you a hundred times
Witnessing the joy of winning in your eyes
O, darling! this is just a war of words
My words have fallen apart a million times
Hoping you filling these cracks
With the joy of your love
And the words stop crumbling
Holding you tight and convincing
This is not just infatuation
Casting the spell of love
A love with no beginning, no end
Making it real and not perfect
You being the twin to my soul
And finally, this one time I win
Finding tranquility wrapped in your lips
Seeing my love in your eyes
Just before the spell ends
Calling you as mine.
