Naive

Watching as they live their lives
Not worried of the world today
Naive to their surroundings
Time flies
People die
Babies born
Everyone going on with everyday
Day by day
Step by Step
Life as they know it
Would be no more
They still don't know
Naive to their surroundings
Corruption
Hatred
Disgrace is what our world has become
Yet they still go on with their lives
As if in their own little boxes
Our generation of technology
Makes us more secluded from the world's feelings
More worried of relationships and fun
But not of poverty and war
Naive to their surroundings
I wonder why
How can they seem so unattached
From life outside their homes
Neighborhoods and schools
Naive to their surroundings
You just sit and hope
Their eyes will open up
To reality....as they are
Naive to their surroundings

Do You Know?

Do you know
Love hurts when you don't want it
Your heart breaks more than mends
Life is not like the fairy tales
Do you know
Your eyes reveal all
Your smile hides it
Do you know
History repeats itself
But living in the past
Gives no hope for the future
Do you know

Circle of Life

In the darkness
His eyes glow
Awaiting his next victim
The one to trespass on his domain
Creeping in complete silence
His victim wonders through
An unknown place
Lost with no where to turn
He watches
Waiting for the right time
As the victim gets closer
In the blink of an eye
He's reached out
Catching his victim for the night
His victim whimpering in fear and pain
Slowly the life draining
From a beautiful creature
As mama wolf drags dinner back to her pups.

When Will It End

When will it end
The hurt, the pain
Physically keeping yourself stronger
Mentally breaking down
As the crimson river starts
Starts flowing with no way to stop
Draining into a puddle of
Lonliness, hate and envy
How could life stop here
No way, no where to turn
Digging a hole deeper
Into the mist of society
When will it end
