Awake

Another day is dawning the light is in my eye
I hear the crow a calling flying through the sky

Before I dreamt of thunder and lightning striking high
I stood alone above the earth and her beauty made me cry

As daylight stands before me a thought comes into view
We do not die we just move on flowers from seed to you

My wearie body cracks and groans as I slowly come to life
Rising rolling out of bed when did it become such strife

But I am awake and nature is calling life another day
Awake the world is turning get out again and play.

Nicky

Your love is like a rainbow different colours from the sun
Your love is true there is no doubt
Your more than everyone

Your smile it is contagious
Your laugh a breath of air
Your warmth spreads this world
I know that you care

Your beauty is not hidden
Your words are never false
You ride above the darkness and bring light into the day

I think I may have said it all but there's probably more to say
I just want to let you know
I love you every day.

The Hedge

The hedge sat quietly on the side street while people passed by on their daily chores
She bathed in spring and summer so sweet as red roses and campion grew by her side watching and listening while family's grew and died
Meandering colours of Persian jewels daisy's and buttercups she shelters sunflowers reach the sky protected from the northern bluster
Sometimes she would get a trim to her sides
As she grew even higher birds made nests or sometimes stop to rest or hide from the sparrow hawk
She would listen to children play and adults talk
Wondering what life would be like to live this way
And when you pass by take a thought for the hedge stands today like her brothers and sisters throughout the globe
And even in the cold of winter refuge can be found
In the hedge

Amenica

Amenica land of the brave land of the slave
Once proud once true
Amenica land of the sick land of large land of poison
Amenica beauty destroyed entombed with lies
Leading the sheep to slaughter
Amenica proud no more Hollywood in your head
Brain cells all dead eating yourself to extinction
AMENICA a photocopy of the capitalists disease big fat joke
A disgrace to the human race
I thought I would take a poke
And you can't make decent beer
BIDEN for president Amen.

Plastic

What is this fascination I find so drastic a devil's game we all call plastic,

Plastic flowers plastic chairs plastic gum on side walks and stairs
plastic animals plastic toys plastic girls and plastic boys plastic parents everywhere with plastic phones stuck to their brains, this world could be so fantastic but everywhere is full of plastic, plastic sex for plastic pleasure plastic art we now call treasure plastic cars and plastic trees it's not hard to see we have a disease , for plastic money we sell our time in a plastic world full of crime, it could make you laugh if it wasn't so drastic people walking round heads full of plastic, plastic oceans oceans die plastic plates for plastic food , plastic thoughts that only think of growth growth of sicknesses growth of despair growth of fear, this world really could be fantastic if we could only ditch our love of plastic, plastic bags to hold your plastic that holds your desires from your shopping spree it's all plastic, a plastic civilisation on its knees with its arms held out plastic please.

Efil Carbon Catastrophe

What is this people say life
I call it trouble and strife
Freddie said he sometimes wishes he had never been born
I wish it every day
I will walk the road I have been given
Although I would love to take a shortcut
This is not really living
I don't want to be constantly forgiven

Although I love the look and majesty of the great oak
And all the other forest folk
My life has been one big joke
But no one seems to be laughing
Mostly it's been raining with the odd ray of light
Then I am lost out of sight
This body is draining

A woman I loved said I was poison she wished she never loved me
I have never found the antidote I don't think it exists
I am a hanging drenched coat with holes in my pockets
I wish I could find it

How could I have closed the legs that opened to regurgitate this pitiful example
Of life
How I wish I could have twisted the cord and killed it in the womb
Now I have to endure this darkened tomb
With the odd ray of light taunting me and teasing
That life can be sunshine
I was born with an umbrella
Did no one think it strange
Shouldn't it have been left to starve

Yes another wasted life trouble and strife
A drain on mother's resources
A carbon catastrophe
A short circuit to the everlasting energy of creation
Please let reincarnation be a lie
Yes I open my arms.

We

We are the creators of the earth
We are the flower and the sun
We are the light in the universe
Entangled into one

We are love we are joy
We are every girl and boy
We are the sky at night
Never out of sight

We are the voices in the wind
We are good and bad
We are the happy and sad

We are love up and down
We don't wear robes or golden crowns

We are the farmer in the field
The guns that soldiers wield

We are the women and children
We are the darkness and light
We are never out of sight

We are the builder who lays the line
The grower who tends the vine
Old father time

We are the turners of wood
The dinosaurs who once stood
Often misunderstood
All one under the sun
We are the brothers of peace
Together we can release the great power of love

We are the hungry the blind
We are every human kind
We are one

We are the people on the street
We walk to every kind of beat
We are the world

Hanging By a Thread

Boris hanging by a thread
Ministers walk like dogs that's lead
You can do what you want nothing will be said

If you speak the truth you may end up dead
It's better really if nothing is said
Ministers walk like dogs that's lead

Puppets on a string their into everything
Their brains walking dead better nothing said
Ministers walk like dogs that's lead

                  Negative powers bound to rust
While everything around you turns to dust.

Police pigs judges with wigs political elite killing
                  Children with nothing to eat

                  Boris hanging by a thread

Navajo

I believe I may be Navajo my mind is telling me so
I can't help it but when I dance the rain makes all things grow

The universe is in my heart the nation's will return
Respect for mother lay in her womb
The fire walkers will one day burn

A land returned piece by piece by lost souls who ravage all
There way of economic waste a capitalist disease
Bringing others to their knees
days are drawing near
Smell their souls fear

I believe I may be Navajo my mind it says so
Medicine plants leading the way
Nature again will grow

I hear the vibration all around spreading far and wide
Fire people have had their day
It's time to step aside.
