Awake

Another day is dawning the light is in my eye
I hear the crow a calling flying through the sky

Before I dreamt of thunder and lightning striking high
I stood alone above the earth and her beauty made me cry

As daylight stands before me a thought comes into view
We do not die we just move on flowers from seed to you

My wearie body cracks and groans as I slowly come to life
Rising rolling out of bed when did it become such strife

But I am awake and nature is calling life another day
Awake the world is turning get out again and play.
