Vietnam and the Grace of God.. Another Fallen Marine

VIETNAM and the GRACE OF GOD.. “ another fallen marine” The daughter of a lucky Vietnam marine, his only child is my husband you see lucky because he made it out alive, aware of the alternative.. as he watched buddies die. Some days for hours I’d listen to stories many times in disbelief………… it wasn’t until he pulled out his pictures that he made a believer of me. Enemy fire, hell in the jungle, and finely beyond the grenades, I remember him saying it was by the grace of GOD, the reason their Asses were saved. Proud they were and lucky to go home, now here we are, fourty years down the road. While my husband, our daughter, his mother and I, feel very fortunate to have been a part of his life As luck would have it.. this cliché is a lie, those who felt lucky never had luck on their side. A soldier selflessly sacrifices life some were called quickly and others over time. Dad was a marine during the Vietnam War standing front line and center, freedom at the core Positioned in the jungle, men were exposed It’s silent, and brewing, agent orange as we know. Agent Orange is the reason so doctors have said, that caused the cancer and the death of our dad. A MAN of all MEN he will always be known as another fallen marine has been called home.

Corsets My Waist

Corsets My Waist
In my corset I
Feel thin and lean
My waist is constricted
Without any pain

Down to a 22 from
A 26 inch waist
Inch by inch as I
 am tightly laced

Around my body it
Is snug and warm
Squeezing firmly like
A silk stalking glove

It Defines the curves,
 smoothes out lumps,
Especially if you have
Junk in your trunk

Reshaping my form
And reducing my waist
Creating an illusion of
the perfect barbie frame

I Walk proud and I
Stand tall this corset
 I wear Is the cause
 of it all

I glow with radiance
And sex appeal
causing not just men
but the girls to stare

So next time you see
A perfect ten stroll bye
 you might find yourself
Staring because you are
 mesmerized

 if this happens don’t
 hesitate to tell her she
 looks good with a
Corseted waist

Little Stinker

I send this picture to my grandparents
       because they're special to me,
and they'll put it in a high traveled
place so they can show off me.
Before you say, "Oh What A Doll" my looks
are deceiving if you know me at all
cause I can be a little stinker every now
and again, but don't ask my grandparents
     because they won't repeat it " A-Men".
The two things I give every time
they're in town #1 is my hugs,
#2 is my love to which they
           cherish all year round.

Just the Way You Are

I say do
you say don't
you say will
i say won't

you talk a little
i talk a lot
you, calm
me...not

I will argue
you will discuss
you walk away
while i'll fight
and fuss

i am a worry wort
i question everything
you have a modow....
Reveal nothing

But,
as a team?
We are a well
oiled maching
doing our parts
responsably

yet,
if one asks
how we made it
so long,
the answer is
simple..
Time flies by
and the years
are gone

now here we are
20 years has passed
are we weaker
or stronger is
the answer we
grasp

one things for sure
as we lok in the
mirror..
I have gray hair
and you have
no hair
we laugh at our
differences as
we each say......
I LOVE YOU

Ma Settled For Whiskey Sour

That's right little ole lady it's here
once again, your birthday is back so
let your aches settle in. What to get you?,
something old or new?, you kissed my
cheek and said, "your love will do".
To get a gift, it's not just for you, when
the one watching you open it get's
excited too. So I started out for
something unique, and that's
what she got... to say the least

I went for a walk, and I wandered
about, I kicked this old liquor bottle
 and a genie came out
As startled, shocked and as scared
as I was, this gift would be perfect
for the woman I love

So I scooped the genie and
the three wishes up, I ran all the
way home while shaking him up,
sitting the bottle on the kitchen
counter, I unscrewed the cap and
never smelt anything fouler

The bottle fell over and the
genie rolled out, he got back
to his feet when he then passed out.
So all I could do was laugh at the genie
Now pitiful and drunk, just needing
some sleepy

But now at this point there’s
nothing I can do, so I went
to mama and said,
"pick a hand... one or two”

The drunken genie man was the
hand she'd pick so I offered her
the hand with the half full bottle,
and told her to wash him down quick
with this foul smelling WHISKEY SOUR

Sweetheart, Sleep Well

I meet you here every night
just to feel you hold me tight
we snuggle to each other's form
we keep each other safe and warm

This is the place we share our love
and silently thank the Lord above
for giving us children to kiss goodnight
and seeing us through to mornings light

And this is the place we go to dwell
it is our bed so sweetheart sleep well.

It's Too Easy For Us Girls!

Seductive eyes with bright red lips
red nail polish on my fingertips.

We sit in this bar and say no words
you gaze deep into my eyes,
while I play like I'm yours.

Will you drive me wild..or have I
already driven
will you be one of those guys that
will be easily smitten.

You have broke my spell by looking away,
   my smile is immanent....
" who's game are we playing"

You play it well, so your reward is my attention
but I am aware that your goal is a night
of passionate kissing.

There we go.. now I have you back,
your desires will get the best of you yet.

Into your arms, I slid down the seat,
my ulterior motive to feel your
heart beat.

And the faster it thumps,
the closer you are,to losing
this game between one boy
and one girl.

Now that I have you flushed in the face,
you ask yourself
" How much more agony must one man partake"

Babe don't worry, It's almost done
your pockets are now empty
so when you look up I'll
be gone!.

Dad...My Only Regret

DAD…
my only regret

Today is a day that I am full of regret
As I fight an old cliché,
The many things I should have said,
I went without saying but I love
You dad

As a young girl you have influenced
my life, And loved me if I was
moody or happy to be your
son’s wife

Miles have separated me and my
birth father So, Like it or not………
yea, I’m a Fallo girl

Leading by example as I quietly took notes,
the quality in the man is what I will cherish
the most
Well, with my eyes wide open dad
I hope you can see I’m not waiting
so long to tell mom how much
she means

It is with all of my love that I am sad
to see you go, I will miss you forever
and for me please kiss
aunt Lowi’s nose.

He Wore Womens Shoes

There you are strolling about a drink in one hand and a smoke in your mouth A dimly lit club with familiar people, as you say your hello's you are greeted by the females Watching you interact, touching The very small of their backs, tender, gentle, a romantic perhaps My finger, now moist from the liquid in my glass like a potion that I'm brewing and I intend to cast A hunger in your smile here and there, as secrets from these beauty's are whispered in your ear Competition is confirmed, and it is going to be tuff as to have one of these bunnies is what you lust Rescued by thirst, and only remnants in your glass mother nature now calls and you can move on at last With experience of a gigolo you mingle the room, blessed with the looks of a prince.. oh yea your good Walking my direction Your approach is near in about thirty seconds my motive secret.. but very clear As a woman unknown has just crossed your path you stop in your tracks to turn and look back Where is she from.. Why is she here… What should I say…. "can I buy you a beer?" This is a first, one of it's kind.. you haven't no words or pickup lines It's now or never you say to yourself, like time after time you dive in head first but tonight will be different and you will be left stumped "what just happened.. was I just dumped?" as you yourself…….. are now…used goods

One Mother's Daydream

A day I remember a day that was sweet
I found myself daydreaming by a slow
flowing creek.
Her curly blond hair and her big brown
eyes, instills the memories I''ll forever
hold inside.
My joy, my life, my child so new just take
mommies hand and I''ll see you through.
So as you grow older, and become a young
woman the inevitable will come when
you say " I''m Goin"
And when that time has come my dear I''m
confident my child you'll persevere as
you take your steps in the great circle
of life.
