Young and Confused

People say what they want to say,
How can their words no go away?
No consideration at all for me,
Why can't the world just let me be?

They said I'm young enough to have a choice
But old enough to forget my voice.
Why did I waste my youth for a wish of age?
All I got now is my heart's rage.

This isn't what I expected in life,
How can it turn on me as a sharp knife?
Now reality laughs at me as my heart bleeds,
I'm human too, swallowed by my own greed.

How wasteful of life to live in despair,
But this life got no chance of repair.
A reality sadly exist like this,
Can I still blow for a different wish??

Being Sita

When I was kidnapped by demon king Ravan,
Not just me but Ram too was equally broken!
He searched for me day and night,
Took help of everyone in the forest and geared up to fight,
Against the demon who has stolen his dear wife,
with all his might!

Good prevailed over the evil and my Ram brought me back after a wait of so many torturous years!
We became King and Queen of our kingdom Ayodhya!
But our subjects doubted my dignity,
And blamed Ram for loving, trusting and standing by me!
So to keep our love untained, I had to leave him and go to the forest alone again!
Modern people often question the love of Ram for me,
Alleging that he enjoyed a luxurious life giving his pregnant wife an exile!

While only I know it was more difficult for him than me,
To send away a piece of his heart, his soul only to satisfy the doubts of cruel public!
We both suffered pain of separation for years,
And when finally our kids united us,
I decided not to be the queen of the selfish subjects,
So I chose to go back in the lap of mother Earth!
Being Sita is not easy but remember being Ram is also equally difficult!!

You Are Worth Recovery

No one saw the hidden truth
That you were trying to soothe
A darkness in your mind
Leaving reality behind
Back against the wall
Numbing feelings to escape it all
Suffering trying to soften the pain
Never seeming to gain

But you saw a trial out of the ravine
Chosing bravely to become clean
Taking the rough paths through the valley
Despite fear of the murky alleys
You struggle and strife
To find out what you are in this life
Moving forward at exceptional rate
Making your rhythm accelerate

Now I see
The truth revealed to me
I see a voice where no one will sing
Inspiring sounds when you hit the string
Words exposing a unique mindset
Melodies no one will forget
I see hopes in the hearts of the vulnerable
Creations worthy to make discoverable
