O My Dear

O My Dear
Having walked together a long long way,
Let us keep all the differences at bay.
Pray, the two discrete ways meet.
No matter even if ones ego, experience a defeat

Already trust is firmly laid,
Only love and respect find themselves a bit fade.
A pour of affection and empathy is enough,
To strengthen and make the nuptial knot tough.

It needs a quick reform and re- design,
Your warmth and care should put me on cloud nine.
Bridge the gap with love and respect I deserve,
Drastic changes in the relation you will observe.

Before the wrinkles engulf my face, admire its elegance.
For damage if any, proves as an effective balance.
Share me your lovely moments before my ears fade away.
Will preserve in my memory all that you portray.

Hold my hands before they lose their warmth,
Together we will solve whatever time puts forth.
Love me before the dusk of my life dawns,
That will truly make the earth feel as heavenly lawns.

Sleep, the Treasure

SLEEP, THE TREASURE

Not all on this planet, have the pleasure,
Of enjoying the true treasure

How lovingly the playful infant you embrace.
The same, as he grows will treat you with utter disgrace.

As he moves on, the other chores will have an upper hand.
Values he the most, his Jewels, Gold and land.

He'll only realise when his hair grow grey,
And will not hesitate to turn back and say

Not all on this planet can have your pleasure,
Oh sleep! the precious and priceless treasure.

Divine Smile

High above me I noticed, a faint smile of light,
Ignored it, thinking it was only a vision of night.
Immersed in the ocean of pleasure,
Found myself deep down in the treasure.
Surrounded by parents, siblings, nephew and niece,
Thought I, it was the actual peace.

Further as I swam, found myself swaying,
In the arms of wealth, fame and riches brimming.
Next to join me, were my own little ones.
And in, came all my kith and kin
High above me I noticed, a faint smile of light,
Ignored it, thinking it was only a vision of night.

As I further moved, deep down the life's ocean,
Found myself bound with hundreds of emotion.
Some showed me a Paradise, while others put me on cloud nine.
High above me I noticed, that same smile of light,
Ignored it, thinking it was only a vision of night.

As I moved on, in this grand ocean of living,
Found myself deeply engrossed with chores, all alone juggling.
None joined me,neither fame nor riches, neither kith nor kin,
That's when fear raised its head from within.
As harsh waves of this ocean hit me,
Remembered that faint smile which now seemed mighty.
Made me realise that smile always shone my journey.

High above you O man!, Always shines a divine smile.
Spare a moment to smile back, and never wait till you are in a trial.
Daily dose of energy that he bestows
Will always keep the ongoing flow
Transcendent energy you will experience,
To swim in the ocean of life so mysterious.

Dussehra

On a roaring lion she rode,
As she neared, the whole world glowed.
An angel, in her brimming divinity,
High above the holy Trinity.

Frozen and aghast! Stood I, at the holy sight.
A spectacular event which I viewed that night.
Showed me up, a magnificence of one's life.

With all her might charged the approaching monster,
Within a blink of an eye,saw the monster lie in divine lustre
Liberated was he, from the cycle of death and birth,
At the hands of the celestial spirit.

Then, with the eyes, so calmed, turned she to me,
And the next movement merged in the shivering Me.

Turned around I, with curious eyes, to find her nowhere.
Next moment heard the most comforting voice so rare.
Deep within you I stay, in the form of inexhaustible power,
Power of tolerance to kill the monster of prejudice,

To kill the monstrous ego and embrace modesty
Am the power of vigour and energy, to kill the deadly demon of lethargy.

You can call me the power of co-operation, needed to destroy the monster of unnecessary fight.
Oh! Dear soul, it's high time you come out of this miserable plight.
And Realise and embrace your power of light.

Oh Divine soul! know your inner power
Wake up, it's the need of the hour
To gain victory over these deadly devils,
Vicious devils of criticism, ego, desire and other evils.

Bathe, in the waters of purity and divinity,
To experience the presence of the Trinity.

Memories

Possess you, the power to elevate
ones mood, and make one feel Elite.
You can make one, plunge into melancholy,
For the reason that may sound too silly.

Plethora of happiness, from memories
you derive
Possess they the power, to make departed
folks alive.
As though, to the past we are clung.
Like a kite held by the string.

But then, comes the ceaseless time.
And helps fade the memories
once thought, prime.
Engrossed deeply in one's chores,
the life goes on..
Realising that, one can't reclaim
the days foregone.

Shed your tears in happiness or sorrow
in those memories.
But soon, put it aside in the treasury.
Cause, the time circle waits for none.
Until on this earth, one's life is done.

A True Friend

The only ship which takes you down the timeline,
And sail your gloomy spirit to the cloud nine,
Without any favor, obligation and dues,
This adorable ship will take you up,without any bruise.

Enormous capacity this ship owns
With which the misery or melancholy, all gets blown,
Blessed are those who board this amicable ship
Which I proudly say is none other than a true friendship.

After wandering in search for many decades,
After witnessing many more hues and shades,
Came across a being with strong belief.
With whom was convinced, will be kept at bay from every grief.

Drawn with remorse for the grave blunder of unseeing,
Decided to walk along with this super being.
A good old friend who joined me with my birth.
And surely will follow me up to my death.

Yes! found a true friend in my own conscience.
Following whom I’m sure, my every task wins.
Love thyself and deeply, peep within.
With trust in self and confidence, a new friendship will begin.

An Epiphany

AN EPIPHANY
        (Sudden Realisation)
Opened he, his eyes as he reached half century,
Till date he thought his tasks accomplished.
School, his chores, vows of nuptial, parents and treasury.
Amidst all this, he found himself vanished

Aghast! Stood there, he with a shock.
Pronounced, will fix myself to the clock.
It's time to live and cherish myself,
Before Destiny makes it a tiny Elf.

Freedom

FREEDOM

It was that auspicious midnight,

which brought thousands of smiles and great delight.
Breathed that air, which was very much theirs,
My people sang and danced with lovely cheers.

It was a day of freedom., liberty from the clutches.
But today's captivity, to the heart it touches.
Wake up, Oh! humam, you are the captive of your vices.
Let loose yourself or else you will be in pieces.

Pride and ego have captured your mind.
For which a true acquaintance you will never find.
Achieve your freedom against these evils.
That will make you divine peoples.

Envy and revenge go hand in hand.
Fetch you nothing but leave your heart tanned.
Liberate your heart from these atrocity.
Raise yourself high above any animosity.

High above the vices, as you rise.
You will find yourself in holy skies.
Deep within your heart you will find.
A Pure soul and the holy mind.

This is what is called a real freedom.
Achieved by earthly person with divine wisdom.

Mother

Mother
Right on the day you appear she is overwhelmed,
With all the emotions which are highly held.
Every moment you are in her thought.
As she handles you, all her love pours out.

With thousands of dreams in her mind,
She is all set, to add to the mankind.
All the strains of the world she bears,
No matter what may, and who cares.

The day you set your feet on this wonderland,
Is a day, her soul experiences a Fiesta, so grand.
All the pain she underwent seems to have been erased.
Next moment, her mind is all set, thinking how you are to be raised.

Her next task is to add colours to your being,
To transform you into a super human being
Tremendous pain though she bears,
Always a million dollar smile she wears.

All the skills of life she tries to instill.
Though many seem harsh and against her will.
She doesn't mind even being despised.
As she knows they are of, much value and priced.

No matter in life however big you may grow,
Remember! Mother is the one to whom you should always bow.
