Couldn'T You

Why, couldn't you have told me?
No, couldn't you have informed me?
  I don't really understand,
  Couldn't you?

 Couldn't you have informed me?
That it high time, you back stabbed me,
 Wouldn't I have prepared myself,
 Off course,for the very worse.

 But I realized,
 that,you backstabbing me,
 Was kind of necessity,
 So i forgive you.

For I realized that, you were under pressure,
Under pressure from that evil vice called peer pressure,
To keep up with your social status is also important to me.
So never worry about me, just keep on soaring higher.

Can'T We

I stand sorrowfully watching,
thinking why nature is passing through this suffering,
Isn't it possible to show some love?,
that rivals that of the dove.

It is time nature and man be at peace,
that nature may be left to pick up their piece.
Isn't it obvious that nature is crying out loud,
That soon enough there would be a drought.

Glowing Smile

Sitting outside late at night,
gazing at the glinting glow of the stars,
has now become something usual,
in fact usual as normal.

Sitting outside late at night,
gazing at the glinting glow of the stars,
at first wasn't my thing,
but you caused it.

Sitting outside late at night,
gazing at the glinting glow of the stars,
at first wasn't what I liked,
but you made me to.

For when I first met you,
your smile was like the glow of the stars,
for that infectious smile of yours,
lit my little heart with flames of love.

Even after many years of your departure,
the glinting glow of the stars remind me of you,
so much of you,
so much I really feel you beside me.
Sitting outside late at night,
gazing at the glinting glow of the stars,
has now become something usual,
Infact usual as normal

My Earth

I once knew of a earth,
that was greener than grass,
that was as beautiful as the lily of the valley,
surely, it was an amazing place.

When I did saw that earth,
I was mesmerized by its beauty,
for it was nice,
and am always eager to go to that earth.

Just because of its beauty,
I told the lord, how eager I was,
to visit that planet,
and to live there.

I was given permission,
so I ran through the seven mountains,
Swam through the seventy seven seas,
and walked through the seven hundred and seventy seven hills.

Only for me to get to earth and find it messed up,
all the greens have began to rust,
and I saw human lives,
being wasted by his fellow men

But, the earth I did saw was green,
life was being treasured like diamond.
laughter of children,
was the world's delight.

But now, everything has changed.
O, how I weep,
As human destroys what God has bestowed to them.
I then bow my head, and weep silently

Please, listen to me, you children of Adam,
hearken unto my voice, yea children of Adam,
stop the struggles, end the war,
Lest we die through our hands.

Narrow Escape

Narrow escape

Daring the jungle,
had always been my greatest desire,
to pursue the rabbits right into their hole.
But mom won't let me go

Anyway, I schemed out a plan,
and I sneaked out at noon.
At last the wild stretches out right in my front,
Off i went in search of the rabbits

But things went too bad,
for I dug my hands into a hole, searching it for rabbit,
but i got bitten,
alas, it was a snake den not a rabbit hole

Forgetting my fruits, I ran all the way home. Mom took me to the doctor.
“well, we have to amputate his hand, it damaged already, better than having all parts paralyzed"

Got No Say

Wishing always, is all we can do
For all the time, time frustrates us,
Jumping is becoming a thing of interest,
Probably because, time kept on skipping us.
 But it wasn't our fault,
 Neither was it our choice.
Buy fate found fault in us,
Thus subjecting us to time's hands.
So instead of worrying to death,
I did just sit on my roof,
 Look towards the farthest point,
Then take my cup of mashed bitterleaf juice,
Gulping it down through my throat all at once.

Mother Nature

MOTHER NATURE

 Come,come, and see,
Yes,come and see mother nature at her peak,
Come and see her in her roual majesyic robe,
 Full of beauty and awesomeness,
Welding the scepter of surprise mixed witj Joy,
Joy mixed with satisfaction, satisfaction that can't be explained.
  But see now,
Mother nature is going to sleep,
For she sleeps because of her agony,
Oh,how she wept,yes she wept,
For her offsprings are destroyed every seconds,
Don't let her go to sleep, please don't,
For if she do,am afraid she won't wake.

A Call From the Greens

A calling from the greens
A call came calling,
a call from the greens,
the green of the greens,
hey that is mother nature calling.

Mother nature came calling,
came calling to curve our attention,
to our obscured self destruction programme,
that we call modernization.

A call came calling,
it mother nature on the line,
she said the animals are complaining
that they are becoming more sensible than us.

She said,the animals are grumbling,
that modernization is infact,
 a coated word for murdernization,
that we had better watch out.

She said the animals are murmuring,
that we are developing a debased mind,
doing things which are not befitting,
all in the name of modernization.
I wanted to ask for the solution,
but she said she had to hung up for her call card is about to end,
that mostly, power has been restored for days now,
so she hung up, leaving me in despair.

The Painful Arrow

We were once one,
but now apart.
We were once together,
but now divided,

How could they, i wept.
Why would they, I cried.
For they were overcame by greed.
Yes ,for they were conquered by covetousness

Where are those who I trusted with all my heart?
where are those who claim to love me?.
For I am being left alone,
to suffer a painful pain (wound).

For the arrow, yes the arrow,
shot by those you care about,
is quite painful,
even quite hurtful.

While the arrow, yes the arrow
shot by those you trust,
is more painful,
even deadlier, for they know you well.

But the arrow shot by those you love,
is the deadliest of all.
For they know your weakness,
and will hit you at a place where you can't survive it.

I cared,trust and loved them,
but now am being shot,
for I am now their victim.
Then I asked, shall I then survive the shot.
