Can'T Outrun Myself

Why my mind flies in the blue skies?
Why is what wroth warden wonders. Yet
I stand handcuffed in a block of ice
By the hands of time: my eternal threat.
I am a fish inside a net; like a fly that toils
In the black grunting belly of a web.
Even an odd blade of leaning grass can cut
A web by threads;
flickering red flames can save, save a heart
that profusely hurts.
I fear not the chains and the concrete walls
I fear not death nor the Grim Reaper’s calls
I fear the man I have been and built
I fear, like Oedipus; my fate is sealed.
Six feet deep below my cold skin,
I lie truly deep with things unseen
The alarming bangs of locks are key,
But they don’t ring a bell.
All walls fall; as bold as they may be.
I evaded the wards of hell
But even Harry Houdini couldn’t escape himself
So I stand stacked against my locked mental shelf,

Naked Rose

In the air; the floral scent flows,
Enchanting scent of the naked rose.
Feet buried in quicksand as time slows
Broken hourglass sand caress toes.

Blind eyes see her; that enticed the nose-
Call it lust at first sight.
Familiar yet so rare; her red petals in repose
Dark; yet so bright.

I dig for the roots of her voluptuosness
Skin to skin, I still know not her secret
Eyes locked in mutual lecherousness
Only she holds the key from which the glamour stems.

Time

Time. Is he a barbarous master? Or
Perhaps, a humble servant to the core
My heart shrinks from an echo
Of his whispers in the pipes of life
Tick! Tick! Tick!

With every blissful tick, he delivers breath
With every dreadful tick, he delivers death
And here I am starring at his face
Like it holds the map to this maze
As the house burns
As the house burns.

Forget the Knives In My Back

Forget the knives in my back
For, in every lonely slash;
Lies the truth like a lazy cat.
Forget! Forget! Forget the bloody hands,
Such matter not;fiends possess friends.

Clap! Clap! Clap!
Thundering-black clouds reign
Where my Halo should have been.
Lies lacerated fabics of my skin
Where my Wings should have been
But I am only human;
There's only so much I could have seen

Forget, forget, forget the dripping blood.
Forget,forI am drowning in mud.
In a breath of time you won't tell me apart.

For, blood is red; bruises are blue
And there's nothing new.
