Pseudo Allegory: Behind the Veil of Deception

If only for a moment you could let me inside
To see a great fortress, or hobbit hole where you hide
I won't be judgemental and play toying tricks
I just want a gander, see what makes you tick
Feel the pain of your sorrow, wicked past telling lies
Keeping you held at gunpoint by yourself stepped aside
Behold the rainbows and unicorns oh what a flurry of bliss
See I know you have self-pity a cacophony minds mix
Something awful and strange brought peace to your being
And it puzzles me so to see you standing there breathing
I really don't know why this happened to you
But I feel for you buddy even when you are rude
Making false accusations about nonsense, a ruse
I know something is wrong so stop hiding the truth
I can see all the way through you all the way to the roof
Where the shingles are hanging not a drop left of vermouth
Let me in for a moment, let me see, I won't bite
Just to glance at the person whom I reconciled thrice....

Pride and Joy

Pride......and joy?

Pride is thinking that you know too much
Thinking that the love you have is even half enough
It's clinging to honesty as if heard earnestly spoken
Or getting hurt and saying bones and will aren't broken
It's setting aside the friendships that build us up
And giving respect to a thought or reason conveyed with guff
It's separating yourself from the mold yet fitting right in
It's kinda funny though the loser always thinks He wins
Self improvement can only come from understanding another
And standing outside oneself and be true to another
Truthfully I really hate the fact that I'm this flawed
And I wish I could change it all without fear and please our God
But apparently I'm just an instrument of destruction
And my only words at the end of this s h I t will be nothing.....

To Whom It May Concern

I thought to myself "Is this real or a dream?"
The wonder at such a moment "can it be? then why me?"
Amazing how deceptive we are to ourselves
Just to have a companion to love and grow old
The common conception better to have loved then have not
Is a lie told by people given up on their shot
I faintly remember regurgitating that theme
But regretfully stated renouncing the lie as I glean
This sadness and sorrow is something that surely will pass
But it feels like I'm dying like the end's come at last
Victory is sweet but defeat has me stricken
A funeral for innocence loss of hope, no conviction
Hopelessness rots inside as the day's promises leave
Left with nothing but pain and the shame well received...

Chaff and the Vagabond

Loyalty brings even the fortified few to falter somnambulantly in succession
As if tranced to commit, their convictions are true yet skewed
The blind emotional outburst of bigotry and cynicism conveyed
Is but a microcosm of what pain these individuals likely feel
Something of an atrocity to be used and told when to kneel
Although the accused has seen duress they gladly contride the thoughts of madness itself
I feel that you deny me reproof yet I will not pity that which cannot choose
As sad as it seems to me I see I've held on to honesty gleaning
Were supposedly a friend you said having talks breaking bread
But now that I see that your truth is my lie I know time will determine the test that was cheated
The sad part I'll say and to my dismay is that there wasn't discussion, just conceded
Hope it's enjoyed, misconception eroded have the seat that keeps you yearning and teeted....

Bon Voyage'

Every decision made has a cause and effect
Gaining wisdom requires taking many missteps
In this unprovoked endeavor you are captain of ship
And abandoning your crew can cause faculties to flip
It hinders discernment making thoughts race to conclusion
Even knowing what was rendered must have been an illusion
Facts become fables as your vision becomes blurry
Friends & family become distant as you scoff on your journey
Leaving traces of brilliance in the errors of your ways
It leaves you broken down and beaten left with nothing to say
You can call it confusion or onset mental illness
But those who experience this know just what they're doing
Stepping over the edge is somewhat of a tragedy
As if life is some sitcom met with drama emphatically
It's such a shame to see great minds get destroyed
With so much sorrowful heartache what then to fill the void?....

Cold Embrace

Something happens when we accept our own defeat
There's confusion and silence ego trip wakens from sleep
Without knowing we abandon our plan to continue
Justifiably argued grandiose our opinions
Even though there's a part clinging on to the truth
Snuffed with malice deniably wrapped in reproof
We ignore it in spite of the honesty seethed
Bringing shame to toughest of men to their knees
I would offer solutions garner values and proofs
But Noone cares about honor and conviction, they lose
Genuinely said I just wish I could help
Even if I'm rebuked I will forgive you for myself
Funny isn't it? One day we will all be dead
And therefore I can die knowing there was nothing left unsaid....

Thief of Trust Dishonesty Seething

The only thing I hate more than unintelligence
Is a bold-faced liar that thinks they blend amongst friends
Using weakenesses as weapons falsely condescending contention
Crashing house of cards paper tiger denys a correction
Even knowing that they face something beyond profound
This game they play only works on what is gained and not found
So when real life hits it leaves them with a lie to undo
But I saw you even though it ceased I just can't let it be true
Nothing personal but you deny that we are both foes
In battle fought with intellect you can't deny I won't lose
And this certainty it scares you to the core you recluse
Like a coward you back out acting as if nothing ensued
But we both know your true face lacks a backbone to stand it
And that something is why I prevail locking door sealing in madness
Coping mechanism feeds demons that just hand over rope
Slithered navigating life upon fissure ridden slippery slope
Had it coming you just didn't know it came with account
Now you're seeing and believing left without not a doubt

Children of Perdition

Distancing does aid
To hide a veil of shame
Compartmentalize the sheep
To lull the wake to sleep
Unearthed the fled play dumb
Circumvention follows through
Big brother saves a piece
To call on those that eat the food
Take your shot or hit the road
When then will they stop the show?
For now the bitter wait
Knowing they'll control their fate
Common sense points to the past
This repeat came round so fast
The tree of liberty wilts and thirsts
Scornfully demanding it's great sacrifice
Steadfast the brave come clean
The upright seeming evil to the dim
Can't bargain with these fools
Common core has warped the fiends
Bears of Red just want your will
Stolen choices rot the soul
Taking aim against humanity
This great country will not fall prey
The devil's children of perdition led so far astray....

Someday

Someday we'll all see the sky and not rebuke the rain
The sun will shine the morning dew will glimmer
But not one there to baske upon it's day
The trees will shed leaves with it's seeds as it breeds
And mountains will fuel causeways turned into Oceans
The depth of the canyons so rich and eroded
Hold secrets forever unbroken
A long lost past with no use for an ending
In the blink of an eye neither point for a story
The beautiful silence with nothing to share
And noone to receive love as a token

Time Machine

If there was a time machine I'd go back in time
With all the great technologies to reprogram my mind
Id prepare for the worst and plans to make a stand
And go to college and learn philosophy understand better who to find
I'd yearn to see mountains with waterfalls of grace
And each place i go would bring a special smile to my face
To recognize beauty more than skin deep
You must understand people and how that they think
So when you're at a coffee shop or in the store
These smiling faces to be adored
Can be convoluted with many locked doors
They come with a price and it's a really good deal
If you're just like a thief at the ready to steal
Your perception that is of what is the truth
Left you hungry for violence, or sex maybe food
They please to the senses and dazzle our peers
As you travel along gathering wisdom with years
You love as a hope for the blind hearted fool
Who just misplaced his steps and got stuck in a rut
It's really easy to look down and pass judgement on thee
Even though hast more to pass judgement on me
Because I started off easy with obvious signs
You saw my set of words and thought wow this is basic
But I told you my friend you find honesty between spaces
Not of time or of place this truth carries faces
And it walks alongside men of each color and race
It's the mask we put on when we would go out and play
Or got picked up from school gone home on that day
It's the taunting of a bully projecting what's inside
While the scrawny kid runs relays to get home alive
It's the reason you wake up with overwhelming glee
And the sight of a crimson sunrise that shines through a silhouette of trees
It's your Happiness clinging to all that you see
Bringing balance to tides fueled from mountain tops, streams
Nomenclature can seem like a big awful mess
I'll stick to naming my things you can have all the rest
Do you see what my point is? There is much to this life
Like loves first kiss blossoms A man and his wife
We all will face struggles common pain and strife
So stop all your b****ing and strap on them worn boots
Get out that front door you must make your first move
Delving into the sciences of should and should not do
I'm not talking down or just filling a space
Even if I wrote in ink you would say rendered a pen
I'm talking about unity and accepting our faults
Becoming a servant of our own relationship to oneself
The point I make is not a trick or some quaint fallacy
Its just a simple gesture to understanding reality*ran out space*
