We Shall Go On

Road to Conviction
Lips kissed so tender
hands held to heart
My mind racing

Oh how did I get here?
I answered and let you in
You spoke and I trembled
Sweet thereafter come near

Color so rampant
Across my vision
Invades this space
Heart so free

Race to the meadow
Green and fresh
Sweet smell lingers
My thoughts as pixels

Paint the canvas
unclear blue and red
wildly thrust
upon my breast

I will recall
As charming ladies do
The feeling and longing
We shall go on

My Daughter of Time

My Daughter of time

My daughter of 1989
The face that etches in mine
Can you not see my pain
Plastered on my sleeve

Why have you turned from mine
The time capsule so rare
Love define in our hearts
Forgotten on some hill

Please turn back 1989
Being there I am secure
Endure the emotion of play
Please turn back and stay

My Daughter of 1989

Today I Will Rejoice

Today I will Rejoice

My sight on target
Has the Son in mind
Gives me life
Shine to finger tips

I Rejoice hands held high
He can see me
As I sway in attention
yes I am here Lord

Book of life, let it be
Count me in thy way
Your voice I long
Good and faithful servant

I Rejoice with vibration
To stand in your field
Hear the swath from behind
It is time

Your faithful servant

Why Is There a Light?

On a night so cold
We have heard the Angel's on high
A Christmas concert memory
Our Ride home not yet complete

My Son so precious
Beaming through a frosted window
Out of his babe mouth......
"Why is there a Light up there?"(on a pole)

My mind on the road ahead
Not giving a thorough process
the words from my mouth....
"Why to show where the pole is"

My son so sweet
Looking with innocent eyes
Continued his words with.....
"Why is the pole there?"

My brain still focused on driving
Not following the last request
my words flowed from the storage
"Why to hold up the light"

My son so tender, quiet for an hour
Then laughed out loud......
"Does God hold us up?"(as the pole)
"While we Shine to show where he is?"

Truth!!!!!
