Passed Out

Toot, toot goes the train.
Jump, jump goes the brain.
Moved to a new house.
Old one had a mouse.
Sometimes change is good.

It's all the same!
Play the sleep game!
INSOMNIAC!
INSOMNIAC!

I can't sleep!
I can't sleep!
SLEEPLESSLY!

Passed out!
Passed out!

DREAM!!!

This is a Dimished Hexaverse, thank you Dr. Ram Mehta for correcting me. This is a fun type of poetry.

The Sparrows Friend

The last leaf did fall,
winter clouds bring the first storm. Earth rest in slumber. Most birds have gone south. Cold winter winds staying now, sparrows search for food. Some have black and white crowns, some just two tone brown. They hide in the trees. Sun is bright, cold day, rest upon Earths frozen crust. The water is frozen. Birds seek human friends to feed and keep fresh water, with help they survive.

Cost

Innocence lost, does not out weigh ignorance cost.

Visions of Life

Visions of life given to all,
The rich, the poor, black, white, big or small.

To the Pope, we take a bow.
John the Babtist will show you how.

Buddhist and Moslems so much to give,
To all peoples, the grand right to live.

The Earth is vast in all its space.
Nature takes flight with the human race.

We are given the ultimate lead.
Visions of tomorrow needs to seed.

We all have brains, we learn to build, sew and plant.
Why must we kill, maim and destroy in wars chant!

On the highways and byways, we yield to each other.
We should treat each other, like you should treat your own sister and brother.

No matter what our color or faith should be,
We all have a right to a free society!

Angel Dust

Heaven has landed,
angel dust covers the ground.
White Earth looks so pure.

To Say Good-Bye

The cars gathered at the neighbors house now,
was not long ago, the sight seem the same.
To say “good-bye” to a young cousin somehow,
forever through time, the heart broken will remain.

The roads they traveled, took them to dead ends,
we should never have to bury our youth.
Cul-de-sac of life, on this they cannot win,
withdrawn from family, they become so recluse.

Fallen so fast into the dungeon of life,
Innocence taken and forever gone.
They just took a wrong turn, did not know strife,
could come back to love ones, even when wrong.

The family will be forever changed,
memories and plans will be rearranged

The Widow

The day came, he took him away, I just wanted to quit.
Too many dependent on me, I knew I had to get.
I am broken now, my role in life has changed.
Who am I, part of me will always be the same.

Life goes on day by day, sometimes it seems ok.
The children grown, but nothing seems to go our way.
Years pass but it seems we found no direction.
I am crumbling now, I find no strength or protection.

Aimlessly the life river seems to run.
Loosing grip in everything, it is coming undone.
The sky is so friged, so ridged and oh so grey.
There never was a promise that life would turn out ok.

There is a reason given to all Seasons lived.
A force that will guide us, a lot of good to give.
Open the eyes and bring change to a new start.
Life will beat new emotion to a broken heart.
