Alvin Korvah Poem
If I should die
Let me die with pride
Knowing that my life a successful ride
I'd may not have been rich
Nor made the front page
But with my hope desire
I've always inspire
If I should look death in the eye
Let me accept it with pride
Cause then I know my life was a successful ride
With smile I'll grace every mile
Knowing that my life style was an inspiration
for the next generation
I've over come every frustration by determination
So please don't cried, nor tried to asked why
Cause if I do stare death in the eye
I will smile knowing that my life was a successful
ride.
BLESSING
This is dedicated to my Grandmother.

Alvin Korvah Poem
When freedom raise in her glorious form
Mama Liberia,I saw U glow and bloom, not knowing U were dome,
You were known for freedom songs, now you sit in the dark
wondering what went wrong,
With the lost of your youths U remain strong,
Mama Liberia,U sit on your bench watching your children dig war trench
where they laid fill with rage to kill without paid,
Which is ill, knowing that we are brothers from U mother
You saw your children pain, while they watch their homes burn
in flames, with fingers pointing to a frame on the wall that is about
to fall,U asked who's the blame? It's Charles Taylor your babies scream,
I saw U smile when U heard that your sisters in the west(Ghana,Guinea,Nigeria & Sierra-
Lone)were just a mile and your wait now is just a while; from your shores that was known as
pilgrims best now salutes as the worst
You had dreams of your children bringing U fame without games, educational
celebrities exercising their liberties the true meaning of your name
but instead we leave U in shame,Mama Liberia,I see U sitting on Montserrado
virgin high waiting for the freedom bird to fly by,with your feet covered in ashes and your
cries over power your riches,U wait as your children stay in crisis. May Freedom
Prevail,Mama Liberia.
PEACE:

Alvin Korvah Poem
As far as my mind goes,
I see nothing but poetic thoughts,
with me indulging in her dark big
brown eyes, her skin smooth and tasteful
as the essence of an African chocolate,
I see her smile as the sunrises,
Which reflects her beauty & strength,
Her hair as black as charcoal,
Scented with the natural herbs
that grace the Fields of Africa,
Her lips inviting and juicy,
her body carved perfectly
by the hands of the Almighty,
In the shape of a co-co-kola bottle,
Showing her true freckles which shows
her courage,
Her conversation is refreshing as the
water falls of mount Kilimanjaro,
Her sense of humor lets me know
it's okay to keep in touch
with yourself
Her presence gives birth to love,
Asserted with elegance, her hands on my
shoulder assure me being romantic is vibrant
then she asked me,do you want to jitter-
bug(dance)with me,thats when I realized
It's all just my poetic thoughts of Love.

Alvin Korvah Poem
You call my name, when you need some one to blame
You make my heart bleed, but you say you love me indeed
You say lets put the past behind, then why say things to make us rewind
I see you happy at times,if only that could last and you're mine
You see it might be my fears, but I'm tired of sharing my tears
I know I'm tough to face it when it gets rough
I which you could understand my heart desire, instead you watch while my heart fade like a
flower
Winter is here and the past is in the rear, so lets be fair
This is not a game,no need to shift blame
With you and me looking toward the sky,why do we need to be shy
Now what is done, has been gone
Today is a new day,you say I say is no more to be play
With his grace we can look each other in the face
So lets do with out our old ways, and forget what others have to say
Let the past be burn, and the future be born.
Blessing

Alvin Korvah Poem
Why blame, when U saw all along it was just a game, not for fame, but for name. His
kiss, might have been it, but then who knows the twist.U reminisce on the days when his
touch made U blush,forgotten the first rule, never rush it's always a clue,don't be a fool.I see
U cried and tried to play it.Why don't U forget it? U see it was not meant to be,or else their
won't be no blame,so don't stress it,take a rest, who knows your next one might be your
best.Don't take this out of context, nor be perplex, take this advise and be wise, don't be fool
look for clues,if U rush U might get crush.
Blessing.

Alvin Korvah Poem
As the ink from my pen caresses my thoughts into words,
I can feel your presence, others wonder why you different,
Sometimes I slip-up,You say don't forget where you from
thats enough to wake-me up,
At times I want to give up,you tells me I'm your soldier
stand-up
Your words are like a butterfly to mine soul
that keeps it from never getting old
Your beauty makes me appreciate nature
Your style is a reflection of my African heritage
I must say, I will never disrespect you
Mind,Body & Soul, but explore every part of your curvy mature body
I will always love you Black Sista
I just hope you love me back, like you do Hip-Pop

Alvin Korvah Poem
Something about me,
I laugh and cry,
I tried not to asked why,
Friends take advantage ,
cause I'm nice,
they seek my worst,
But with God's bless,
they see my best,
I tried to pull apart,
But my heart fall apart,
They come to see me fall,
never the less,
with all the stress,
I still stand tall,
I'll always forgive them,
And don't know why,
So please don't tried to asked why,
cause thats just ME.

Alvin Korvah Poem
I make love 2 black poetry everyday
piercing through her eyes,my soul dies
as she smiles, giving space 2 a new level of grace,
her glow allows me 2 flow, her reflection erase all
my confusion. Exhaling,I say a verse, yeah,a poetic line
damn she's fine
with her I know I I'll shine. She dines with me to the
finest wine. With my hands running through her dreads
she feels my every cries,Black poetry, she corrects me
when I'm wrong, kiss me even when she's pi st,
She stretches her hands to help me stand,my expression
of her love,is a confession of a poetic man

the fight. He called U names to bring down your self esteem and U think that
alright,be bright don't settled for less.I'm not tring to be complex, nor get U
perplex, just be wise and take some advice, never rush U might get crush, sis its
time to let him know U fine and if he thinks U are just talking he can keep
