Yard Sale Cowboy On Cd

From here to wherever, I'll follow a yard sale sign,
it's a past time endeavor, for my collective state of mind,
I may buy some furniture, or a trinket for a dime,
yard saling is a pleasure, yes, a personal hobby of mine,

Yea, I'm a yard sale cowboy, on the trail of search and find,
and it gives me great joy, to see a yard sale sign,
from here to wherever, cloudy days or sunshine,
I'm searching for that treasure, ain't no telling what I'll find,

I may find brand new things, boots, shoes, or clothes the right size,
silver and gold chains or rings, or an antique will catch my eyes,
I could find my brother a nice bass lure, or a spool of fishing line,
or maybe a nice piece of furniture, or something for a friend of mine,

Yea, I'm a yard sale cowboy, on the trail of search and find,
and it gives me great joy, to see a yard sale sign,
It's a past time endeavor, for my collective state of mind,
Yard saling is a pleasure, ain't no telling what I"ll find,

Yea, I'm a yard sale cowboy, I just spotted a yard sale sign,
searching is a pleasuree, ain't no telling what I'll find,
I may find an old bass lure, or a spool of fishing line,
now one thing is for sure, I just found my cat a ball of twine,
and look here, I found my ol' dog a bone to grind,

Yea, I'm a yard sale cowboy, on the trail of search and find,
I may find an old bass lure, or a spool of fishing line,
from here to wherever, cloudy days or sunshsine,
I'm a yard sale cowboy, on the trail of search and find,
Yea, I'm a yard sale cowboy, ain't no telling what I'll find,

Hey Bud, how much for that there what-cha-ma-call-it?
Naw Naw, Naw, that there thing-a-ma-jig, there next to that do-ma-flitchie,
Yea, Yea, that thinga-ma-jig right there.....ya say three dollars..um-m-m..OK...
I'll take it...here ya go.....and how much for that do-daddy over there?
Yea, yea, right next to those 2 onion skin tires...Uh Huh..yea..well I'll be..
Well yea..I'll take it too...it's something I just can't live without...ha ha ha..

Hello, Good-Bye, So Long On Cd

You say you like to ride in my pick-up truck,
to sing karaoke, and drink some beers,
but how can you say country music sucks,
when your rappin' nearly burns my ears,

Well, you can think and say, but by the way,
I'm also gonna speak my mind,
'cause country music is what I'll sing 'n' play,
if you don't like it, kiss my behind,

And you don't have to stand in line,
to kiss where the sun don't shine,
good country music, to me, sounds fine,
but your yappin' rappin' just ain't my kind,

Yea, I'm a country boy, deep to the core,
if you can't tell by now, you're blind,
and like I've said many times before
that crap in rappin' just ain't my kind,

I know you don't like my snake skin boots,
though my cowboy hat you say is fine,
but cowboy boots are part of my country roots,
since way back, a long long time,

Yea, you don't have to stand in line,
to kiss where the sun don't shine,
good country music, to me, sounds fine,
but your yappin' rappin' just ain't my kind,

Yea, you don't have to stand in line,
to kiss where the sun won't shine,
and if my boots don't turn you on,
then I reckon you'd best get gone,
So hello, good-bye, so long,

But, before you go, If you don't mind,
leave a kiss where the sun don't shine,
since country music doesn't turn you on,
and my snake skin boots don't turn you on,
Yea, I reckon, you'd best get gone.
So hello, Good-bye, So Long.

Hitch Hiker Song On Cd

Yea, I'm living life on the road, traveling across the land,
I left my humble abode, with just my thumb on my hand,
I'm sightseeing and free....heading somewhere...
with no better place to be, in my world of no care,

Yea, I'm hitch hiking....thumbing for a ride...
half broke, no home, roaming the countryside..
like a tumbleweed blowing across the USA...
those miles keep growing behind me all the way,

I'm sightseeing and free, headed somewhere,
with no better place to be, in my world of no care,
Yea, I'm living life on the road, traveling across the land,
sometimes the nights get cold, but the sunny days are grand,

I'm a road hiker, gonna hitch a ride,
meeting new faces, across the countryside,
like a tumbleweed blowing in a gentle wind...
with no better place to be...than where I haven't been,

I'm sightseeing and free, in my world of no care,
with no better place to be than going somewhere.

Daddytold Me Song On Cd

In life to get by, I really do try, very hard to live by,
the old fashioned ways, of how my daddy lived his days,
He often told me not to lie, and when he caught me, it made me cry,
and I still remember him say, son you'll be ok, tomorrow's another day,

Then daddy told me about the war, the first time he wrecked a car,
and of how it made him cry, when some of his friends died,
Then we looked up in the sky, and the whole world felt like ours,
staring high up in the sky, I just wished that we could fly,

Being young, I asked dad...why?...why do people have to die?
Then I heard him sigh....and say....my oh my oh my,
and he looked me in the eye,
as I yearned for his reply:

Son, people are dying without....and dying within,
with no way out.....hunger starves a friend...
Death is much about, bloody wars that never end...
The whole world, no doubt, suffers from serious sin,

Then we looked high up in the sky, suddenly a shooting star went by,
and the whole world felt like ours, as daddy told me about the stars,
Then I listened to him say, son...tomorrow and everyday...
let nothing stand in your way, and you'll succeed in life....OK.

Love Grows

As time slips by...
and each year comes and goes...
Oh my oh my!
how my love for you grows.

Bowlers Poem Award

You bowled the ball...that made them fall...
'twas done in games and pleasure...
Many saw... with thrill and awe...
as you bowled with skillful measure.

1953 Ford Truck

In my travels around....
from town to town...
I found sitting next to a tree...

a red truck for sale...
that looked like _ell!
a ford, nineteen fifty-three...

So I knocked on the door...
and wasn't for sure...
if they'd sell it to me...

When they answered the door...
they wanted more...
but I gave them two-fifty, not three...

I got it running at last...
and oh! what a task!
I couldn't wait to set it free...

Yea!! it's really fast...
when I give it the gas...
ask those cops who gave tickets to me!

The body's intact...
just one ding and a whack!!
I'll paint it just wait and see!!!

Old Glory

A precious gift is old glory....
our nations stars and stripes...
standing in history..
dauntless States unite,

As glory stands for all of us..
sisters and brothers throughout the land..
a nation united in God we trust...
in democracy our forefathers planned,

As we live to fly old glory...
prosperity stands throughout the land,
as we live and vie from tyranny...
sisters and brothers share liberty's hand,

As we rendezvous with destiny,
in glory and liberty, go hand in hand,
for the dauntless eye in memory....
underlie the spirit for such that stand...

as the Betsy Ross entity...
flies for every American.

The Kentucky Derby

So swift behooves...
in challenging quest...
competitive hearts...
race their best...

A treasure to win...
one measurable test...
for equine ones..
Churchills best.
