S Schantz Poem
This is a poem I wrote for the Crazy Christmas Carol member contest.
It is in reference to Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. Hope you have some laughs!
Santa The Fat-Bellied Stranger
You know Batman and Robin
and Shakespeare and Poe
Oprah and Elvis
And Monet and Van Gogh
But do you recall
The most famous person of all?
Santa the fat-bellied stranger
(stranger)
Had a tummy full of ho's
(like Pavarotti)
And if he ever tried to
(tried to)
Couldn't even see his toes
(like a horse)
Now that he's getting older
(older)
With impotence and bum knees
(like McCain)
They never let poor Santa
(santa)
Savour all his common glees
(like Mrs. Claus)
Then one lonely Christmas Eve
Blue pill down the hatch
(please oh please)
Oh meds to my wife's delight
Won't you guide my libido tonight
Mrs. Claus from that day forward
(forward)
Always shouted out with glee
(have mercy)
"Santa you fat-bellied stranger
(stranger)
You'll go down in history!"
(like Casanova)

Grain of life cries out
Imprisoned by its own skin
By own death set free

S Schantz Poem
All things earthly flowing together having no bounds
Without beginning and without end
Timeless beauty of the sky, reflecting the suns cry
A warm sun gives to the air, a breath which it will wear
Parted sea that gathers above, the heavens then share with love
Gentle air that caresses the rain, into valleys in which they drain
Rich earth that harbors ocean, with waters drenched in potion
Soils consume the perished, and seas that clouds once cherished
Life drinks from the soil, and cleanses the air in spoil
Sweet flora that swallow the air, with much beaut to ever share
As waters are clouded
The skies breath has been soured, and soils turned pungent to the tongue
A fierce sun burns with anger, its last lyric and verse unsung
A man with a stained sleeve gasps for air, as the earth cradles his knees
And there he finds in him, are all of these

S Schantz Poem
LOVER.
From withering heights
With much despair
Could I come forth
In ill repair
Without a cause
Without a clue
Unbelievably in pain
No thanks to you
Always angry
Always sad
I so miss the days
When you were all I had
Never again
No matter what you say
Shall I take a chance
Not today
Leave me alone.

S Schantz Poem
FATHER.
What did you say?
Why did you say it?
One things for sure
I know I hate it
So out of touch
You never knew
With all do respect
Why you do what you do
Forget it now
It's said and done
No need to worry
It won't come undone
I'll bury it deep
So you can't see
How much it did
Bother me
Its too late.

S Schantz Poem
Up high above
or down below
where ever
will you go?
A glimmering sky
a flower be
to be observed
through glass I see
Over yonder
around the bend
till midnight skies
or till I say when
Regrets are harsh
Lies much worse
Where will you go
After this verse
I miss you so
