Fake Love

I dont need
The fake smiles and affection

I dont want
The crowds of spoiled attention

Searching For Moonlight

Like a lost sea turtle inching
Threw sand

Searching for the beams of moonlight
Shining a way to the sparkling blue ocean

I search for your love
And I've found it

Game of Cards

King of spades
Royalty unlock the chains
To my soul
Then throw the key far away

Queen of hearts
Stop my world from falling apart
Protect the beat of
My breaking heart

Ace of diamonds
Underestimate me not
Stop my mind from crying

And crying
And crying

You played a game of cards
With my mind, soul and heart

Your Kisses

Your kisses are deadly
The numbing sensation begins on
My lips

Which lose feeling like
A day in the cold snow without a coat
To keep me warm
Then traveling to
My hands

Which freeze like
The witness of a horrid crime
Finally hitting
My feet

Which fall asleep like
A sleepless princess unable to wake up
Until another kiss has found
Its way to my lips

Listen

I've been misunderstood
By the strangers in my life
Listen
I wish they would

I've been misheard
By the ears in my life
Listen
They don't and it hurts

Love Me To Death

We stand over a cliff
And you're holding me
By a rope

You've tied a knot
Alike a noose and hung me
By my throat

And before this day
Had came to pass
You whispered in my ear

I will love you forever
And my heart you will always
Stay near

My legs begin to shake
And it's now a struggle
To breathe

But you just laugh
While I die and you turn around
To leave

For I thought you always
Loved me
And I thought you would always
Be there

Yet I guess I was wrong
Because you let me fall
Then walked away
Without a care

When I Thought I Was Over You

I'm at the end of our road
And I can't let you go
Through the rain and the snow
I just can't let you go

Made of Paper

My heart is made of paper

It can be torn in half with ease
It can be set to ash with one flame
It can be blown away with just a whisper

So please
Be careful

Harsh Habits

I still jerk my head
To the closed window
Whenever i hear someone honk

Wondering if it was you
Too scared to look
Then praying that it wasn't

I'Ll Wait

I'll wait for you
To be ready
For me
Cause i know
That life can steal
Your energy

I'll wait for you
Forever
As long as it takes
Cause i know
You're trying to heal from
Bruises, scars and pain

I'll wait for you
To be ready
For me
