Fighting To Let You Go

I hate so many leave
Blame me for how it all ends
Now your posting all the time
Without me even when I was still there

We said, we were strong enough
But when the tide got rough
And it fell apart
you didn’t stay to fix what we broke
You just tossed me out
Like a paper weighted piece of trash
On the the ground
Fighting to let you go

I wish you would have stayed
With me but you walked away
And I cried from the stress of it all
Hoping it was just a dream

We said, we were strong enough
But when the tide got rough
And it fell apart
you didn’t stay to fix what we broke
You just tossed me out
Like a paper weighted piece of trash
On the the ground
Fighting to let you go

And now the things that we broke
have split so far, we can't go back
you know I tried to glue the pieces
But you chattered it, thinking it was only me

Waiting For the Fire

I’ve watched with terrified eyes,
as the world around me burns from the flame.
It started with a spark but as every fire does,
it swallowed everything I loved.
Like a statue I stood,
in the center of the burning flame.
I did not have control.
I was just like everything else,
more food to be engulfed.

So I stood there waiting for the fire to take me,
But it never did.
I waited for hours, days and years.
I waited to be taken.
I did not want to live without the one person I needed.
He was always better at living than I.
And yet, in the end, he was the one who couldn't stay.

Daughter of the Sun and the Moon

Brought up by the moon,
Taken from the sun.
Daughter of the shadows,
Sister of a far away star.
Daughter of an angel she will never meet.
Daughter of the sun she barely knows.
The sun bleeds into the night
Through the light of the moon.
But she will never know peace,
Until the sun finds his daughter.

Dancing With the Flame

She wakes up to dance with the sun rise.
Brand new day, new season but she feels the same.
She gets pulled with the day but still feels the ties.
That binds her to the past, so she dances with the flame.
The flame she keeps burning in her heart away from eyes,
That will look at her and only see her as a name.
So she will rise with the sun, just as spring comes again,
She will grab hold and she will take the rein.

Demons In the Night

Demons plague her mind.
Fear and anger fills her thoughts at night.
Consuming every dream, every thought, every breath
As fear takes its control.
Her demons trap her in a cage,
With no escape
And the fight she once had,
Quickly fades to dust.

Bleeding Blue

Put a smile on my face so they won’t know
Cry alone at night so they won’t see

The pain behind the smile the tears caught in my eyes, there’s no escaping

Cause I’m bleeding blue, if they knew, maybe I'd be alright
But I’m bleeding blue, thinking it’s true, there’s dark in the light

I act like I’m fine even though I’m not
One person knows I hope it won’t show

Cause I’m bleeding blue, if they knew, maybe I'd be alright
But I’m bleeding blue, thinking it’s true, there’s dark in the light

Left Me Broken

I’m in pieces on the floor
Because of what you did to me
I live in constant fear
That i'll be shattered on the floor
For another 2 years
And like a piece of broken glass
I won't ever be whole again
Cause you broke my trust
With everyone one who could help
Was that your plan from the start?
To leave me cracked when you left
Do you even know how much pain you caused?
I used to be a light in every room
But you’ve left me blind

Ya I'M Sorry

I said I’m sorry but I can’t change the past
You think I’m dumb, well may be I am
But I’ll still learn from what I’ve done

And I know you think that your better than me
Cause you act like you haven’t done anything
So I’ll shut my mouth, and with you I’ll pretend

Well, that’s all you want anyway
You want me to be perfect,
You think that I shouldn't have the problems that I do.

So yes I’m sorry,
And this is the last time I call
We will live our separate lives,
I’ll picture you, high on your throne
