Wreath of Time

A slough of love
serenading moonlight
A snowball chance in a dream
Buffalo riders playing rodeo
A lovers touch in spring
petrified on time
Absent friends
on the wreath of time

Plan B

Soon plan B will be presided
and the skies will cry
Is there some cause
to be opined

The fallow fields
on a horses meadow
with her Foals
presides over a warm spring

Lost promises by the trees
although with the beast lurking
St George he tried
to avenge the haunting

Sonic Sounds

dusted canyons
wild children play
blackbird finding its way home
Jesus said i should take more care
wanderings to smooth the soul

Solitude my melancholy way
who tussles these days?
I do not understand
what it is I wait for?

Leitmotifs are aplenty
sounds are driving us
we become the score

wrapping through the empty years
laughing at the tears inside
of a mariners ghost.

A Strange Beauty

my lengthy boundless
where wild hope grows
there is always the earth
making this firmament

The shepherds enter the fray
deers escape their captivity
a campfire eclicts laval secrets
a strange madness flows

The town is deserted
sparrows makes incoherent flight
A youthful sun makes
shadows on the dry stone wall
beauty is breaking

Falling Back

There in benny street im in a heap
bright water all around me
Im a cheap wine in a drunken drain
I don't need anyone dancing around me
If I were a black sheep of the family
I pillow down
I kick all my belongs
down rainbows end
Cant get a grip of the ground
Im upside down, the right way
Always the breeze
waking dreams leave me tired
Falling back again
bright water all around me

Silver Queen

The silver birch
presides over the scree
A caravan of love
proceeds duly eastwards
I'm staking my faith in you

The wind whistles past
We are on the road again
to magic lands where the gypsy queen shows
the world her love

where you find
butterflies and buttercups
smiling in the rain,
and hope waiting for time
our faith connected to the earth
uncorrupted

Needs No Apology

Among the trees
I am left speechless
The gold and glaze
I've spent my summers
in a haze

I have nothing to do
but sit down by the dawn
If I feel low
its only me to blame

Sometimes I take
a walk to the trees
by the long grass
where we made our first confession
Fulfilment needs no apology

Pebbles 2 Amended

In the street I found you
oblong pebble
Where did you hail from
an outcrop or some bizarre barrier reef
I let you chalk
to all the lost and lonely

I love you like Jah
I cannot bare any flowers in my seed bed
I lay you in the mud
chlorosis of zinc and potassium
unpurifying the London Waters

First Letters

Out of the wind,
the brown carpet is marked
prosaic like petals swept away
My snowdrops weltering in the winter
not even dead heading
can help their blind eye stalks

I feel like a pebble
roughened at the edges
and Im gifting no one
Mother nature has unearthed me
My eyes remain shut
I finger past the muddy morass
I feel blazed over
from the cityscape of lingering dreams

Not even the recurring home
joyous and warm
feels my pockets
I am a sunbaked bun

Pale Daughters Part Deux

Pale daughters
don't stoke the familial fireside
they wait patiently for the darkness
toting their time

They are not the ones
to hang around freckles smiles
instead they tell quaint jokes

Children call them defilment
their painted smiles tell a different story
lying in bed with their spectacles on.
