Love and Life

It's the things you wanted to say, and things you could never do.
It's the feelings you have felt, would never come true.
Times you have had to fall, and times to crawl out.
It's the ones you Love, and bridges you have burnt down.

Planning the future, then taking the wrong way.
It's looking into the past, and changing it day by day.
It's ways of life, and how you can make it.
It's finding love, and deciding to take it.

It's seeing your life through anothers eyes,
Saying the I love you's, and learning to say good-bye.
It's love and life, and all you hold dear.
It's finding that special someone to keep through the years.

It's making of memories, things you do not forget.
Like your love's first kiss, or the day you met.
It's the feelings getting deeper, with each passing day.
It's holding your love closely, and never wanting them to go away.

Love Endures

It takes a strong woman;
to really stand by her man.
When the world is against them;
she still does all she can.

Through thick and thin;
the good and the very bad.
She keeps coming back
for the love that they have.

When things can get no worse;
they can only get better?
So she trudges along through all;
all of her stormy weather.

So she tries to look to the future;
though the past will not be forgotten.
Deep within her heart;
some feelings are still rotten.

Though her heart is full of forgiveness;
it is also full of pain.
Worrying that some day;
some day will return the rain.

If the rain shall return;
there will be no sadder day.
This strong woman will give up;
give up and truly walk away.

Until then she prays;
she prays with all her heart.
That her and her man;
can have what they had from the start.

Since the day that she had gone;
after their love took that fall.
They have not yet again become one;
but they have made it through this all.

Their love has endured many things;
and their love has celebrated many things.
Maybe one day they can make it again;
You truly never know what the future brings.
