I Imagine You

I imagine you softly
Like a sound on the air
The touch of your hand
  The smell of your hair...

I imagine your voice
  Gentle with the night
I hear in it the courage
  The laughter and the light...

I imagine your eyes
  all the love they hold
I see in them redemption
  the pain you never told...

I imagine your body
  The heat from your skin
I imagine your embrace
  I imagine it again...

I imagine you
  The way you imagine me,
I imagined you today
  Imagining me...

Hey God

Hey God, have you glanced down lately,
At the world that we're living in,
I don't know how we made it this far,
Can't you see we're drowning in sin,

We give kids guns and they're soldiers,
They can't drink, but they can fight our wars,
Where is love, without it we're nothing,
What's life when you've lost your soul,

And why, if you know that we're dying,
Is it so hard and so slow,
Last night I dreamt we were talking,
And here's what I wanted to know...

Does it ever
Get any better
Will it ever
Hurt any less
Is it ever
Worth all this pain
Do we ever
Find love and happiness
Tell me which way to forever
Do you listen when we cry these prayers
And how... how far is Heaven
I'm so tired
Please take me there

Now here we are with one foot in Heaven,
There we go the other foot in hell,
They say things will get better,
I look around it's so hard to tell,

You can have these guns I don't need them,
Keep your drugs, I can't use them anymore,
My dreams, they're my salvation,
  My wings, someday I'll soar,

I cry now and wish for the laughter,
And I fight so one day we'll play,
And Lord I hope that I meet you,
  Then here's what I'll say...

Does it ever
Get any better
Will it ever
Hurt any less
Is it ever
Worth all this pain
Do we ever
Find love and happiness
Tell me which way to forever
Do you listen when we cry these prayers
And how... how far is Heaven
I'm so tired
Please take me there

Something's Not Quite Right

Our souls are screaming who's to listen?
All they're asking for is light
We're made to shine, yeah we're meant to glisten
Something's not quite right

Our eyes are crying our hearts are jaded
All they're asking for is air
Our dreams are tired, Our hopes are faded
Is anyone even there

Our hands are cold and our feat are weary
All they're asking for is light
Shine for me, show me you hear me
Ssomething's not quite right

Will Ya?

Just love me, will ya?
 Don't say anymore,
Don't pick up the phone
 Don't answer the door

Just love me, will ya?
 Forget you're so cool,
Forget the whole world
 Forget we're both fools

Just love me, will Ya?
 Forget what was said,
Follow your heart
 We all lose our head

Just love me, will ya?
 Start with your lips,
then move to your toes
 And end in your hips

Just love me, Will ya?

Untitled

I don't know why we scream when we're talking
Girl we're only building that wall,
And if we had intentions of walking
Why did we ever bother at all,
Sometimes we're children playing
  Sometimes we're oceans wide,
We don't always mean what we're saying
  Sometimes we're foolish pride,
How will I know if you're crying
If you never show me the bruise,
Help me understanding when I'm trying
Take me for a walk in your shoes,
I can barely see through your curtains
Open up and let the light in,
Show me everywhere that your hurting
I'll try and make it better again...

Kill Me

It's sunset in the garden
I can't believe what I've just heard,
Your lips are like daggers
You pierce me with your words

You don't know what you're doing
When you look at me that way,
Time stands still between heartbeats
Angels come out and play

You give me that magic
You make me believe,
This love is so heavy
It brings me to my knees

It's midnight in the garden
How did we get to this,
Your lips are like daggers
Now kill me with a kiss...

Charlie

Charlie are your rainbows far away?
Where you are do they still laugh and play?
Charlie there are no words that can explain
Are there tears? Do you still feel that pain?
Charlie who will hold me through the night?
Tell me who will make me feel alright?
I wish that you were hear so I could say;
Charlie guess who's free, and guess who's finally okay..

I miss you

Spider

Don't go smiling sunshine
 That's not even you
You say peace and you say love
But that's not what you do

Don't go dancin' rainbows
 Girl you're not the one
You're not warm you're cold as ice
 Yeah you heartbreak for fun

How can you cry teardrops?
 Please make them go away
You're not hurt and that's not pain
It's just a game you play

You're more like that spider
And my whole worlds your web
Would'nt my life be so brighter
If you just got out my head...No sunshine
