Too tired to think
Too tired to talk
Too tired to take 
Even a walk

Too tired I say 
Perchance I must fall
Too tired to take
Even a  call

If this is my lot
If this is my stay
How can I even 
Begin to pray?

Here she comes
Riding on the wind
Sensing all the chill
Feigning not a thing

There she goes
As her garment flows
Into hands of time 
And for love sublime

Now she bends
Singing on a sigh
While she sits on high

Making new clothes
Sewing chilies
Ironing out problems today
Tonight washing tears away
Cooking up a quarrel

And building discord

Sow the wind and reap the storm 
All along you’ll be forlorn
Take the bull and ride him down
Aways watching for your turn
Take the kettle by the steam

Wait for rain while dancing free
Never more you lady see
Create anger and the thrill

Fight the giants in the dale
And come shouting up the trail
Shout!

Blowing the whistle at the mill
And your teammates get a thrill

I depend on You
For strength and grace
For all my trying needs the space

All my efforts have been in vain
And only You can take the strain
All along You sheltered me
But now You set me free

I know You’ll stand in times of dread
I have that certainty in my head

Jail To Fame

Joseph so refused to sin
He ended up in jail 
Jesus too refused to sin
And He never did fail

His God kept kept Him so safe
While He languished in pain
His God kept Him sane
And kept Him in His lane
Of truth and righteousness
And beauty for His dress
Peace and glory He had gained
After He had not complained

Joseph rose from jail to fame
From the rough end of the ride
And to him the glory came 
With God always by his side

Go away blue can
Go away cane
Come to us another time

Are you fighting?

Just because you saw a pond
Didn’t mean you had to swim
Just because you found a gown
Was not time to tie the knot 

A knockout yes, yes I know
But it is for another time 
And another place for all 
This is the end of this day

Come with me to another place
Another happier time
When peace walked in the streets

Dragon Ride

See the purple dragon
Riding on the wind
See the golden tiger 
This side of the spring
This side of the sailing 
On blighted sea of tears
And the mighty engine
Running on his fears

If he fades in sunlight 
And he rises in the dawn
There will be a cooling 
Of his midnight form
All he ever wanted
Was his autumn ride
And to be forever 
Always by her side

He will never hurry
Onto barebacked sand
While his loyal following
Resting in command
Do not weep for him now
As he joins her there 
And his midnight yearning

Ooh good at last
Feel that flame
Licking at its heels
Coming into crystal 
And a morning cry
Then to slumber inward
For the day arise

Taking arms all
Walking into walls
Vowing no more bribing 
And a midnight fall
Into deep blue slumber

Into days of darkness
After all is calm
