Felt But Forgotten

Willing to pay the most tragic of prices
I just want to feel something soon
Using her beauty for only the worst of vices
Knows what she’s doing too

Can’t stop the hate that follows temptation
You’re all I want but can never see
Walking around with the worst reputation
Never-ending buzzing, but I have yet to see a bee

No amount of drinks will ever swivel the image
The thoughts I know finding you again
I’m done with this agony, so start the scrimmage
Please help me find the end of my adrenaline

Pulling me endlessly, stretching me thin
I’m trying so hard to show you what you fail to see
Your refusal, I swear, is the only true sin
It can’t be wrong but we’ll never know, will we

Dreading the smell of dead romances
You only sense the prayer
Ashes, ashes burning all of our chances
It’ll be your own fault when we’re both gasping for air

Are you only using me once again?
I have been dealt no hand, I should fold
But I’m dreading that day this comes to an end
So I’ll pretend to hold the world while your eyes only get cold

Maybe... one day we could be the fine line
One between lust and hate
No love in sight, but I’d get to call you mine
And maybe one day I’ll accept that fate

For the wind will forever whisper our fear
Even when no amount of screaming will bring up what I long to say
And if, or when the world forgets we were ever here
I will still love you anyway

Six feet in the ground and all I will see
Is the sparkle in your eyes that I wish was towards me
But of course, you won’t notice at all
I should have known you would never actually fall

Dreaming Npm

Dreaming of summer,
Wanting the sun now, oh please,
I can't take the cold.

Thinking of Leaving

I was just thinking…
What if one day,
We stop the ship from sinking,
Pack our bags, and sail away.

The beauty we’d see,
Forever in our grasp,
Becoming whoever we wished to be,
Finally freed of our mask.

Never stopping to think,
What if?
Never regretting a blink,
Falling for no quip,

Loving the freedom,
And screaming at fate,
Wandering with no rhythm,
Never to be late.

This could be us,
Running towards the sun,
Taking with no fuss,
Only ever having fun.

But as I open my eyes,
I know it’ll never happen,
For you’re my despise,
One that will never dampen.

So I’ll just keep thinking,
Dreaming of the day,
The day you’ll stop drinking,
The day I find the right words to say.

Love In Words

Think about you
Think about love
Love to want
Love the chase
Chase the feeling
Chase the wish
Wish for more
Wish for you
You should see
You should go
Go to bed
Go to far
Far from home
Far far away
Away from me
Away from life
Life grows old
Life gets lost
Lost in you eyes
Lost in the sea
Sea salty as ever
Sea rough tonight
Tonight I will make you mine
Tonight I will say
Say what must be said
Say the truth
Truth only brings tears
Truth will kill
Kill the flowers
Kill the beauty
Beauty is more than this
Beauty can’t be happiness
Happiness can’t be found
Happiness, where will I buy
Buy some time
Buy too much
Much more than good
Much too quick
Quick is my heart
Quick are the feelings
Feelings of what
Feelings that are lost
Lost and cannot be found
Lost and too far to save
Save me if you must
Save your words
Words of wisdom
Words of hate
Hate…
Wisdom...
