Fire and Earth

Il est le feu. Lying dormant for way too long
Je suis terre. Scorched and seemingly barren of life
Disaster has struck again, but Earth still stands strong
And will blossom into a world free of all strife
But what is the Earth without a trailblazing light?
There can be no life without the presence of Sun
Will he be the one to illuminate my night,
Or be the firestorm that makes Earth come undone?
Because my scarred lands cannot take another hit
I will not let the ground beneath me fall apart
I need a control burn, not a fiery split
And deep down, a Fire that ignites my core, my heart

Tu es le feu. Show me a light that will not die
Je suis terre. I will sustain the light if you let me try

Le Jardin De Son Coeur

Approach, slow, steady, a padlock chained gate
Stand still, calm, resolute, you might be let in
Proceed, easy, savor, it was worth the wait
Breathe in, breathe out, fragrant air of the garden
The sacred space of her heart, tended by fate
Light shines, illuminates, bounces off the skin
Dazzled, awe, how long did this take to form
Cultivated by all pain, love, and storm

Look, left, different flowers, each with a name
Closer, see, a rose, pink, gentle and sweet
And then, an aster, pale, wild and untamed
Moreover, a pansy, vibrant, bittersweet
But mixed in with the flowers, see bindweed, bane
Look, right, a plot, seems to have a planted seed
A closer look, your name, it’s just as well
The plant, a mystery, that fate will tell

A Birthday Tribute

We all celebrate on this day
The one who takes storm clouds away
A woman who’s grace, love, and light
A beloved mom, aunt, and wife

She’s the one who puts out the fires
She’s the one who pulls out briars
Strength in its purest form, true might
A beloved mom, aunt, and wife

Fitting that she was born in Spring
For blooming warmth is what she brings
She brings the day, banishes night
A beloved mom, aunt, and wife

We all celebrate on this day
A beloved mom, aunt, and wife

Parasite

Evil, vile, demented smile
Parasite, you’re a parasite
Charming, nice, sweetest vice
It’s all a lie, it’s all a lie

You seemed like a fly on the wall
Harmless and so very small
But you were a predator and I was prey
Waiting for me to fall

And fall I did
Fell into your greedy hands
Met every last one of your demands
Never realizing that I bled

Evil, vile, demented smile
Parasite, you’re a parasite
Charming, nice, sweetest vice
It’s all a lie, it’s all a lie

I got played like a fiddle
To me, it’s still a riddle
Why to this day
You are this way
Because everybody warned me
That you’re a monster, you’ll never change
I still loved you truly
Even when I should’ve just walked away

I fear for the next
I’m sure your trap is already set
I hope she doesn’t make the same mistakes as I
I hope she walks away without a tear in her eye

Evil, vile, demented smile
Parasite, you’re a parasite
Charming, nice, sweetest vice
It’s all a lie, it’s all a lie

Crimson Flower

What I want can not be explained
What I need is to feel the pain
Do not care to be entertained
I cut myself on the thorns
And I feel alive

I see you and I see blood red
I see you, can’t get you out of my head
Why do I get a sense of dread
The thorns sink evermore
My mind’s on overdrive

Why does the flower bloom
Why does the flower bloom
I’ll never know
But it’s threatening to consume
All of the room
Inside my heart

You will be the death of me
Crimson flower, crimson flower

Gnarled and twisted, just like me
Gnarled and twisted, I can’t breathe
I do not wish to be set free
So sink your thorns in more
Revitalize

You think that I will run from you
You think you will tear me in two
What if I said I want you to
Make my knees hit the floor
I’m by your side

Why does the flower bloom
Why does the flower bloom
I’ll never know
But it’s threatening to consume
All of the room
Inside my heart

You will be the death of me
Crimson flower, crimson flower

Why does the flower bloom
Why does the flower bloom
I’ll never know
But it’s threatening to consume
All of the room
Inside my heart
You will be the death of me
Crimson flower, crimson flower

Crimson Flower Revisited

What I want can not be explained
What I need is to feel the pain
Do not care to be entertained
I cut myself on the thorns
And I feel alive

I see you, red fades to grey
I see you, drifting away
Thorns, they hurt no more
Took a breath of life

Yes, the flower blooms
Yes, the flower blooms
This I know
My heart is still intact
Ghosts of the past
Have lost their hold

Necromancer came to me
Crimson flower, with a crimson flower

Gnarled and twisted, you still are
Gnarled and twisted, riddled with scars
I’ll be as far as the stars
Banishing the thorns
That may soon arise

But I am not afraid of you
I see now what you came to do
What if I wanted to thank you
Thank you for the light
My soul ignites

Yes, the flower blooms
Yes, the flower blooms
This I know
My heart is still intact
Ghosts of the past
Have lost their hold

Necromancer came to me
Crimson flower, with a crimson flower

Yes, the flower blooms
Yes, the flower blooms
This I know
My heart is still intact
Ghosts of the past
Have lost their hold

Necromancer came to me,
Crimson flower, with a crimson flower

Burst, Supernova

You don’t have me where you want me
You want to pull me in
Will I ever be free
Or will the madness win

I burst in the night
Away from sight
Nobody knows
How far I ignite
Across the sky
Supernova
Do you know her?

If you truly want to see
Bring a telescope
If you can’t handle being out of reach
Bring a stethoscope

Hearts, racing, galaxies collide
The next Big Bang
Conquer the divide
Souls, shaking, system override
This is the real thing
We cannot deny

I burst in the night
Away from sight
Nobody knows
How far I ignite
Across the sky

Supernova
Do you know her?

She’s a supernova
Do you know her?

Alone It Getting Paradox

Alone it getting, everything for you
Setting the plan, all will come through
Process the trust, be born anew
Sleep from awaken, may experience deja vu
Alright be will you, when presented with the truth?

Shift in the energy, disruption of synergy
Dashed into entropy, concoction of misery
Repeating history, heartbreaking eulogies
Lack of comradery, and old commodities

Fear, everywhere, near, cover your ears
Despair, in the air, bear, show that you care
Go with the flow, grow, get in the know
Reap, what you sow, oh, fruits in a row
Transform, let it unfold, mold, it was foretold

Getting it alone, that’s what we try to do
Plan the setting, spiral when it goes askew
Trust the process, and evolve into the new
Awaken from sleep, there should be more than few
You will be alright, now that you know the truth

Sound the Retreart

There’s no fight left in me
The more I push, the more I bleed
All effort in vain, leads to defeat
Sound the retreat

Wage your wars, bring your gun
But be ready to chase, for I will run
Not giving in to your sick idea of fun
Sound the retreat

I will defend myself no more
I know my truth, I know my core
I lay still until you get bored
Sound the retreat

May as well give up now
The curtain’s drawn, I took a bow

I’ve sounded the retreat
