Burst, Supernova

You don’t have me where you want me
You want to pull me in
Will I ever be free
Or will the madness win

I burst in the night
Away from sight
Nobody knows
How far I ignite
Across the sky
Supernova
Do you know her?

If you truly want to see
Bring a telescope
If you can’t handle being out of reach
Bring a stethoscope

Hearts, racing, galaxies collide
The next Big Bang
Conquer the divide
Souls, shaking, system override
This is the real thing
We cannot deny

I burst in the night
Away from sight
Nobody knows
How far I ignite
Across the sky

Supernova
Do you know her?

She’s a supernova
Do you know her?
