Dorji Thangzom Poem
The ballad most widely known
In Bhutan, a heroic tale of Tsewang Tashi.
Like the hero was selected to go
for the battle, so is he chosen to go for war
without armor.
Without armor?
would be your question.
Don't be astonished, for the war
is not against other worlds, neither between
different ethnic groups, but is the war
to combat the deadly disease of 2020,
yes! the pandemic covid-19
spreading quickly in every nation.
But why him?
would be your next question, but ask not
because he is not the king or the ministers
fighting wholeheartedly for the people.
Rather he is included,
to those group, who is on their
responsibility like any other individuals.
Why about him?
ask me that. I Phurchu Zam
like that of the heroic tale, awaits for his return.
Oh! that's about him, but its not.
For it is about Phurchu Zam
resembling my state, with hurdles in heart
massive than that of the man
who went for the war.
It is just a lonely night,
with your warmth lingering around,
just to fade away. The heroic tale
is sung and acted, mourning the tragedy
of nation's great hero. But who have the idea
what Phurchu Zam went through?
With her two fatherless kids,
with her hope like that of wings of a bird.
And that wings were broken,
For there is no hope, waiting for him.
I will wait, Just like Phurchu Zam
as he is my Tsewang Tashi.
Then am I her? No I am not,
For my hero will come
serving our country, with his selfless duty.
For he will be back,
as he knows his Phurchu Zam is waiting
counting on every seconds, for his
RETURN. He will be back,
without a wound in his body
though he went to fight,
A war without armors.

Dorji Thangzom Poem
I don't know what I am
Waiting for, on this chair,
Near you, and with a book in my hand.
Silence occupied, you on your work
But what am I waiting for
Near you?
Blank in the mind,
But calm just to be here.
Don't know what drags me
Near to you, though we are
Not meant for each other.
I don't know what I am
Yarning for, staying still and peeking
At you, as you are not something
I could have, and I am left
With an option to go
With the flow
I don't know why am I sitting
Here, nothing to talk about as if
The talkings are done through our hearts,
And eyes glaring to each other with
So many unspoken words.

Dorji Thangzom Poem
The spotted lights I see
on the valleys beyond,
calls for me every night I feel
alone and exhausted
and also reminds me that
indeed life is beautiful!
The moon,
who is just peeping with its half body
from the sky winks, saying ''You are doing great
till now and will do further." making me
more optimistic, in the world
where I belong.
The moment I am in
just now, is so fragile and calm.
I want to have this feeling
for eons and eons.
Dark surrounds me
with sprinkled lights to every sides.
And the night feels just PERFECT.
My thoughts get cleared
like the sky above, filled and complete
with the little stars around.
In this silent night, barking dogs
and the birds chirping, makes my heart
more in peace. While the cars moving
up and down, even don't dare
to distract me at all.
This perfect night,
I longed for you always,
This is the night
which accompanies my soul,
the only soul who just feels
the hollowness and emptiness of the
Uncertain world.

Dorji Thangzom Poem
Black, the evil badness,
And the goodness everyone possess,
World changes around them,
As it's effect condemns.
For some it's just a distraction,
While for others it is their life's destruction.
Badness wraps them tightly their whole life,
At the end, stabs them with a knife.
Ambitions redeems over their selfishness,
Explores another world which is directionless,
For they desolates their perfect world,
Like snails hiding inside their shells curled.
There is badness,
All owns it being clueless,
Some ues it as weapons to shield,
While rest gets killed.
Seems mine too are awaken,
As i can feel my world shaken,
I won't let it ever happpen,
As what i have been
Through is moulded with my sweats and the wicked rain has to abstain.

Dorji Thangzom Poem
New stage begins
Where I have to beseech
everything included, not just
Money, food, job, compliance
But even sex!
What is this phase?
Which is too hard to live on
What is this chapter?
Of my life, which crumbles me,
Deteriorates me into pieces
And even restoring it's shape
Will be hard to recognize myself.
You say, it is the very end
To the state of being drained
Into the books, you say,
Its the time I repay you all
Back, oh really!!
Reckoning all of this
Makes me go crazy!!!
Where is my life?
Where can I rummage it?
In that particular profession!
Or in another phase of my life!
Drenched in Incertitude
And you say "life is how it is"?
I salivate to turn it over
I lust for creating my own world
Where I can flaunt whole world
Meeting everyone green-eyed,
Just to live my world, and
Bawl on top of my lungs
That "life can be different"
And it counts on yourself.
