Gayle Vanasse Poem
In my mind, my body moves
Involuntary images appear.
Orientation becomes distorted
Deceptive imagery adheres.
I run, I hop, Sometimes I fly
Unreachable - too complex to;
Impossible Illusions
Bizarre delusions.
Elation, fear, and colors appear
Activities bestow my movement.
No loss of awareness
Conversations preparedness.
I wake with misplaced thoughts
Subconscious disconnection
Deep sleep dreamin'
Immediately forgotten.

Gayle Vanasse Poem
THIS MOMENT FOREVER
BY Gayle Vanasse 6/5/2022
Have you ever found that special moment where everything just feels right? Everything feels good! That moment that makes you feel like you just wish to be in this place forever, just feel like this forever.
Today, this morning I feel it. I feel it so clear, clean, beautiful. I just want this moment, these moments….. to last forever.
The cleanness of my body, my breath. The smells of the clean morning air, the sounds of the natural life, the sights of the beautiful surroundings. It’s so now, new, clean, refreshing, RAW. I feel it all enter my body through my nose, through my eyes, through my ears.
The soft breeze of a new day. The sun awaking from its long night. The birds singing glory to the new day. The soft musical notes that give life to this earth fills my heart and soul with the wonderous love, gratitude, and honor to be alive.
Oh how can I make this feeling stay in my heart forever? Not just in this present moment, these moments? Knowing soon something will interrupt this beautiful feeling I am experiencing. I wish everyone could take a moment to feel this peace of love and contentment. This feeling of joy and freedom. To be able to release any pain and anger from their lives and just feel the amazing goodness the world has to offer. To breath it all in, let yourselves explore the true feeling of happiness, love, and the joy of being truly alive.
If only these moments could last oh so much longer

Gayle Vanasse Poem
Where does that butterfly GO ?
It fly's HIGH;
It fly's LOW.
Do you think it sees me ?
I don't know;
I just wonder,
Where did that butterfly GO ?

Gayle Vanasse Poem
Mockingbird
I watched a mockingbird build its nest this beautiful spring morning in June.
A soft flowing breeze drifts with scents of orange blossoms and honeysuckle.
Twig by twig – winding, twisting, weaving a tiny bowl of beauty.

Gayle Vanasse Poem
Look up to the majestic sight
Towering canopy of green
Wide-reaching fronds
Bold, confident, courageous.
A tale thrilling to tell
Hurricane eruptions,
Of seasonal disturbance
Bold, confident, courageous.
Morning sun-rays filter now and then
Blocks of color
Slight variations of gray
Stand bold, confident, courageous.
Baby palm look up to the majestic sight
Amongst others on sandy beaches
Aspire to tell stories of survival
Stand bold, confident, courageous.
New plantings, appearance
Vascular tissues, circular vessels
Baby palm trees grow tall
Bold, confident, courageous.
A tale waiting to tell
The next seasonal disturbance
Stand bold, confident, courageous.
The tallest palm tree
Vie survives

Gayle Vanasse Poem
Explore your souls journey,
Blissfully ignorant;
Communicate, deliberate.
Invisible emanation
Searching entry through closed eyes;
En lived by your awareness.
No boundaries, no limitations
Leave space, seek opportunity.
let unseen flow through.
Surround yourself with full breath
Life's wonders;
In this very moment.

Gayle Vanasse Poem
Suspended in a setting
Nestled in the sky,
Water droplets bound
Surfaces release upon the earth.
Meristems divide
Flowers appear flourishing,
Indicative of rebirth
A new beginning.
A dreamlike vision
Bound from droplets
That are no longer
Suspended, in the sky.

Gayle Vanasse Poem
Your day to existence
Exorbitant day that is for you
To celebrate and explore.
The week is over
Today be free
Release confinement from.
Visionary unfolds, week to come
Breath in, twinkle, and laugh
Contentment and gratification be yours.
It's FUNday, YOUR DAY.

Big boats - Little boats
Motor boats - Sail boats
Speed boats - Slow boats
And Fishing boats
Just sitting on the beach
Watching all the boats go by.

Gayle Vanasse Poem
We came to be here
In Twenty-O-four.
A sight like no other
We'd seen before.
Sapphire waters
twinkle like diamonds.
Clouds drift like snow
Parading above.
Sun comforts our bodies
Water cools our toes.
We left where we came from
for I once froze.
For all that called us
We wanted more.
That's why we came to be here
In Twenty-O-four
