Ode To Ketchup

For hamburgers hotdogs and french fried potatoes
add the sweet savory sauce a gift from tomatoes
Ketchup Ketchup pour it thick
for bland foods it does the trick

Scramble eggs just to plain
Ketchup adds that sweet tang
Steak a little too dry
that's when ketchup applies
Try adding ketchup in your sauce
topping meatloaf it is boss
Beautifully red rich and thick
Ketchup is foods favorite condiment

For finger foods a tasty dip
so yummy you smack your lips
Ketchup is a sweet sensation
taste buds crave with anticipation
That magic that ketchup brings
is that flavorful wonderful zing

Sweet Tooth

When I look at you
I lose control
I know I shouldn't
But I can't say no
Just a taste of sweetness
Upon my lips
Its belly fat and expanding hips

One doughnut begets two
Two doughnuts and why chew
Swallow them whole
Shove them in
I just can't get enough
Of eating them

A candy bar
So innocent and sweet
Just one candy bar
For a snack or treat
Before your through
How many did you chew
Sugar coma
Gets the best of you

Sip a soda and burp
Sip a soda bubbly flirt
Before the night finally ends
You've drank twenty cans

Candy is dandy
It makes you smile
Candy is dandy
You bloat like a pregnant cow
Candy is dandy
What harm no sin
Candy is dandy
For a triple chin

I scream with delight
Of ice cream tonight
The chills and thrills
I lose my will
No bowl I need to be gotten
With a spoon devour straight from carton

Chocolate syrup a can of whip cream
When your alone and can't be seen
Spray and squirt right into your mouth
Now this is what sweet is all about

Brown sugar bacon
Brown Sugar Bacon
BROWN SUGAR BACON
Is why Peter said eat pork

Cakes and pies
Straight to thighs
You start to swell
By eating until
Your belt buckle pops
Cause you can't stop
Eating those sweet sweets
Eating those sweet sweets

Good Dogs Go To Heaven

She had four long legs and a curved tail
with a smile that made you happy
She had big ears and eyes full of care
and ways that were fun and sappy
She had a big heart and a loud bark
She could look dumb but be so smart
She was loyal and true
She could chase away the blues
and she always knew
that I loved her too
I miss her so
Hard to let her go
Good dogs go to Heaven
she will be waiting for me at the Pearly Gates
Peter will let us in
She jumps with joy as I hug my friend
asking with those big soft eyes
trying to keep mine dry
why are you so late
it's hard for a dog to wait

Apollo Dreams

Through a forest of heavenly marble columns
Upon a bed of silvery mist with golden dew
Into the realm of Mount Olympus, Apollo dreams
Slumber oh grace thy eternal beauty of youthful man
Magnificent surrounds your godly radiance
The world of ancients waited your awaking
The Sun arose for your command

Once the reign of Zeus was done
The glory of Apollo was to begun

Majesty of archery oh gentle arrows of death
Escaspe your bow as easily as your breath
Patron of medicine you could heal
The very ones you choose to kill
Mortals who rejected your godly lust
As supreme ruler poor mortals do as they must
Poetry rhymes from your lips
Music one of your greatest gifts
With prophecy you should have known
You would be denied your godly throne
Never to ride against heaven in your chariot of the Sun
A Savior replaces you with the Faith of Jerusalem

Sleep eternally sleeps Apollo
Your creed the world no longer needs
Your light no longer is the sight
Apollo dreams never again to awake
Constantine's vision shakes than remake
God of Sun transform to this earth
Son of God by Virgin's Birth

Man no longer believes of Apollo's deeds
Man no longer has a reason for Apollo's needs
Without a purpose for his faith to be deem
On pillars of white marble forever Apollo dreams

Eve's Apple Pie

Save your soul in a pickle jar
Wishes will get you only so far
Today is yesterday in review
Will tomorrow bring anything new?

Saints are sinners that God forgave
Dead bodies are farmed into the grave
You give and take and take and give
You live to die and die to live

Paradise was lost by a fleshy bite
Innocence was deflowered by knowing right
Adam's apple jiggles when he lies
Nothing is sweet as Eve's apple pie

Never Forgive Me

I am alone
                     I am bored
                     I had enough
                     I want more

Why can't I live without you
Why can't I forget loving you
I run through the night streets
I pick fights just to get beat
You think I won't forgive you
If it was only that simple to do
For what you can't seem to see
Is I can't... never forgive me

I have no friends
I have no family
I party without pity
Being in a glazed faze
Hell is all I raise

                     I am alone
                     I am bored
                     I had enough
                     I want more

Promises spoken only to deceive
Promises broken I foolishly believed
Nothing last forever nothing stays the same
True love ends when only one remains
People change People leave
People hate People bleed
People hurt People pain
Never never change

                      I am alone
                      I am bored
                      I had enough
                      I want more

I miss you terribly
I miss you miserably
I miss you more and more

                       Turn off the light
                       Turn on the night
                       Let me dwell in
                       My self pity skin

You think I won't forgive you
If it was only that simple to do
For what you can't seem to see
Is I can't...never forgive me

Smile Smile Smile

Make someone happy
Smile Smile Smile

Make the world better
Smile Smile Smile

Troubles are a plenty
Sorrows we got a few
Problems always pile up
Worries dampen any mood

Too easy to give in
Too simple to give up
If the cup is half empty
A smile can fill that cup

Smile for there is love
Smile for people care
Smile for happiness
Smiles are meant to share

When the world gets you down
The only way is up
Smile Smile Smile

Make the world a little bit better
Start and let fun begin
For when your smiling
That is how happiness begins

Silly People

Just pretend a baby in the womb isn't a baby at all
Just pretend America is evil and deserves to fall
Just pretend we have no borders and never complete the wall
Just pretend there is no crime and we don't enforce any laws

Just believe there is no God and the environment becomes religion
Just believe opposition is racist to keep people in division
Just believe in reckless spending our future enslaved by selfish decisions
Just believe in globalism while our people suffer improvised living

All the silly people staying dumb
to the truth they are numb
A fake president with fake news
the world imploding in shadows of blue
War is profit extinct the dove
preach hate forsake love
Boys are girls and girls are boys
grooming children for woke toys
Famine and fear grip the earth
false mandates controlled by virus birth
The rich get richer the poor do without
the elite only sow seeds of doubt
No more oil means no more food
with Build Back Better all will lose
Silly people obsessed with silly things
destroying the world by being insane.

Writing a Poem Today

Writing a poem today
with really nothing much to say
make it rhyme anyway
and with words I will play
Keep it short or long
give it lyrics of a song
Make it personnel or to all belong
maybe it will be liked by someone
Should my poem be sad or gay
   should it lecture and persuade
or just be silly in it's way
   Writing a poem today
Happy thoughts of jest
   or torture soul of loneliness
Love is cruel or love is best
   finding those words to express
Political point made shrewd
   proclaiming a religious view
Or keep it tame and smooth
joyful with a tint of blue
Write it safe do not disturb
   carefully select each word
Or damn it all the world's a turd
let it go with the absurd
Writing a poem today
with really nothing much to say
Will it come out anyway
   Writing a poem today

Hello Jesus

Hello Jesus, say Hi to Your Father for me
Thank Him for allowing me to be
So many prayers, so little time
Could You maybe push forward a few of mine?

Not the ones for wealth and prosperity
Not the ones for vengeance and hostility
Not the ones for health and love
Not the ones for family and friends I think of
Not the ones for work and security
Not the ones for fears and worry
Not the ones for country and our fallen heroes
Not the ones for strangers and lost souls
Not the ones for those already gone before
Not the ones for little ones we all adore

Just the one I forget to say to Him
                               Thank You God
                                Praise You God
                                               Amen
