As I sit here I choke back my tears
cause I need to know you care
I'm hanging onto the ropes of hope
but I need your love to help me cope
I'm so far away from everything I know is true
yet my memories of you keeps me doing what I have to do
Things are so complicated
and sometimes I get so frustrated
But I know as long as I have you by my side
that I won't have to run or hide
And I can face anything that comes my way
now you see I know I need you more everyday
Without you my life would be dark and gray
so baby don't go away and leave me astray
To you it might have seemed like a one time thing
but for me you are more then just a fling
You stole my heart
So please dont brake it apart
Just tell me that you can feel this love that I know is true
cause without you in my life I would feel so blue

How do you get to someone's heart
when they hold you back from the start
How do you make that special someone see
that you are only there to please
If only I could make him see that my love for him is true
then maybe he would not be so blue
I wish that he could see that I love him more everyday
that without him my life would be dark and gray
I wish that he would believe
that I am here to stay, never to lieve
If only I could brake through that wall around his heart
then maybe we would have a better start
