The Most Tyrannical King: the Overthinking

Ever jumped from one thought to another faster than the speed of light or at the speed of your internet connections full might...

Within each thought grows like a tree, with the branches like intricate questions of what if...? why should I bother ? how ? when ?

In addition, these branches stem off, to bring more questions, more non-existent fears , more hypothetical problems, more questions, more non-existent fears, more hypothetical problems.....

So repetitive, each thought more scary as though all of them are being competitive , each thought making you more and more sensitive, in the fact, you think why just not do anything, since I have already got everything planned out and each way is worse than the last I might as well not bother

It’s as if you are your worst Chess grand-master, you can think ahead but each thoughts causes you to be stagnant, causes you to slack, as if to let the brain do the imagining while you sit back , each thought bringing you to the moment you are about to crack

The outcome, hesitation , you try different solutions to tame it like meditation and relaxation , its helps for a bit but then you remember you are blessed with this potent curse , oh how much its hurts, the pain so strong, it weighs done on you like you have a crown, your kingdom not yours, you are just weirdly the prisoner of this dictatorship, it really becomes a messed up relationship

However fear not for you the prisoner can escape, you can force this tyrant king to abdicate, for you shall overcome this my friend is your fate. you simply must open the gate, for the steel bars are your thoughts so crowded it fortifies your jail, you must walk out and not just imagine what could happen but try and find out.

Don't forget your cell mates ; dreams , hopes, ambitions, confidence
each one a friend you have known for a while but somehow avoid them, have you forgotten each one will stand by you to your lasting breath, they would fight by your side, each one you can talk to , you confide, for they will say you must try, you must, the battles at time will be a struggle, but in the end the war you will win, this overbearing curse will be lifted and you will have a grin

But my dear friend you must take the step and try , you must, this king is truly the worst, but you will win
Stop doubting , Start believing , take back what’s yours and you my dear friend shall surely be set free and your potential will be fruitful for you to see….

Pseudonym

There is power in a name and with my name my abilities amplify,
An alter ego of sorts I don,
To help paint my true self across a page,

A second destiny,
I choose my fate once again,
Or should I say they choose their own fate for the first time,

I am a poltergeist crafting the words on behalf of my significant other,
Two worlds I don’t wish to collide just yet,
Therefore, one must remain the shadow,

Identity shrouded in secret,
I could be male, female, non-binary,
No system can pin me down,
Since I’m neither a 0 or a 1,

Chromosomes; X and Y, don’t apply here,
Those letters are only useful when I’m coordinating my reasons why “X marks the spot” on these treasures of words gifted as a poem,

I am my writer’s puppeteer,
The only irony…
Is that I create freely,
No strings attached.

Meeting New People

I enter a room,
Each person I see, stare back,
All their eyes feel like piercing daggers,

There simple greetings of “Hi”
Are sucker punches with powerful blows,
Wilting this delicate wallflower to the point that,
My greetings back are just whispers blown away in the air,

I sit down and try to begin the art of socializing,
I laugh on cue to jokes that aren’t very amusing,
At the same time the seat I’m on feels like needles are jabbing my posterior,
in reality the seat itself, has soft plump cushions with plenty of space to relax,

I guess this is my phantom pain at its peak,
I sit back trying to fixate on what my eyes can see,
Avoiding the illusions my mind is conjuring,

I take a deep breath,
In…then out, in…then out,
My mind seems to have decluttered,
Just enough to read me back a simply but potent message;

“Calm down, all is well”

A smile crosses my face in the fastest of seconds,
My reply back was short;

“I’m good. Just observing that’s all”

Boom!
Together my mind and vision align as if the big bang occurred,
I sit back finally relaxed,
this time just watching what’s on TV,
from time to time I give a passing comment,
slowly conversing with them,
they don’t seem to bad,

The night turns out beautifully.

Blank Page

There are crafts of countless drafts on this blank page,
Accounts of my days of happiness or rage are on this blank page,
hinted goals and affirmations are blueprinted on this blank page,
look and you shall find that my mind roars it's thoughts unfiltered on this blank page,

Behold a story begins to unfold on this blank page.

Ink jives it's hips, thrives in it's own motions and clicks it's fingers in rhythm to the writers melody that lingers,
In order to transcribe what you're trying to describe to the mass of one or many on this blank page,

Sentences are redacted,
Subtracted from the line of sight equating to something that now means nothing,

Why?

It could be a mistake,
A misfire of the message I attempted to make,
Thinking I had it locked and loaded,
Ready to shoot it across this blank page,

Or...

It could be that I find it unnecessary to reveal deep parts of me,

So...

I become hell bent on destroying any trace that may possibly leave my scent in this blank page,

The land of doodles,
Far and wide is it's reach,
With the population consisting of ...
stick-mankind,
Talking poodles,
Confetti filled with noodles,
Whatever you can think of is there in this blank page,

On this blank page I stare deep into it's void and wonder....

What shall we do today ?

1... lets go

Tick Tock Tick Tock, time can be a blur, we all need to enjoy each minute, each second that much I can concur, before I go on I apologize if my words are a slur..

Live life to the fullest, reduce any regrets you have, evolve be your best version, yes i know it can be quite a hard conversion , at all times be yourself, for long life keep good health...

Random this poem may be, words that I have typed most likely overused ,yet the action of the words underused, all in all make sure to smile, to laugh, to once in a while have a bath, conquer your desire, always reach higher, the next generation try to inspire, show them that incandescent fire, that they will definitely require and at the end of all that don't overwork, in essence retire...

Beauty Is Sweet

Beauty is sweet,
like Skittles,
whether sweet or sour all the flavours in the packet are unique in their own way,
showing despite difference they are all scrumptious

Beauty is sweet,
like Haribo Starmix,
they come full of different shapes and sizes,
some may find others much nicer than the rest,
 nonetheless all are delightful

Beauty is sweet,
like Pear drops,
hard to crack,
but give it time,
it should not be rushed and you will appreciate
how greatly satisfying the taste can be,

Beauty is sweet,
like Lindt Chocolate Truffles,
 its outer layer is amazing,
but its inner part tastes even more immaculate,
showing although on the outside it is great,
its inner layer is even more of an extraordinary treat

                       Beauty sure is sweet....
