This Is Me

I am just like you,
I can take the things I do.
And learn from them the best I can,
Make a difference with who I am.

You might be slow and I might be fast,
We don’t need to concentrate who is first or last.
You might be smart and I may be not,
So who cares about that we still have a lot.

Sometimes when we talk I don’t look in your eyes,
I might just forget so don’t be surprised.
If I don’t speak at all please try to wait,
I find it hard especially on a date.
It’s hard to sit still when your brain is telling you not to,
I start moving around it's just what I do.

There’s a lot to say about touch,
Sometimes even my clothes feel too much.
If I think the light is shining too bright,
Or even if the noise isn’t right.
If it smells awful and tastes real bad,
And anything touching makes my head mad.

It’s a terrible time for you and me,
But it passes so quickly and soon we will see.
That it’s over and done with and better at last,
It was just a quick moment now gone in the past.

Someday I hope I find the key,
To find the missing piece hidden deep within me.

Discrimination

We are pushed in living
And believing
That world has changed
And liberty is inked with golden page

Go all over
And you shall discover
The practice of apartheid
Very much strongly held

Discrimination’s like a snake
Its teeth in poisoned prejudice,
Causing ache

Discrimination, abolished all warmth and spirit
And returned with a new hate
Relishing its pain brought
Never thought of halt

It is lack of understanding
That goes on unending
Whether in advanced countries
Or countries of poverties

Color plays important part
People may not say on face but start
The use of language in slur manner
This creates bitter feelings

When you are in minority
Or not in majority
You shall be kept at bay
From power and have no say

This leads inequality
Imbalance in taking decision directly
Show the intolerance
And sometimes witness full violence

Why do you think you're better
If your culture is not the same?
Yes, maybe you seem different
But deep inside all are the same.

Why do they think they're better?
If one is black and one is white,
If one is man and one is woman.
They are the same, that is their right.

If one is straight and one is gay,
They are no different, just the same
If one is Christian and one is Jew,
All come from God, we are the same.

try snd get to know all people,
And show them what you think and do,
You'll see how others live their lives.
When you like them, then they'll like you.

If one learns to understand
And respect all points of view,
Then peace on Earth must surely come
It is up to you. And you. And you....

Love

A million stars up in the sky.
One shines brighter - I can't deny.
A love so precious, a love so true,
a love that comes from me to you.

The angels sing when you are near.
Within your arms I have nothing to fear.
You always know just what to say.
Just talking to you makes my day.

I wake up every day with your smile on my mind.
It's a beautiful sight to behold, so soft and so kind.
I have you to guide me through my troubles and fears.
I'll always be here for you through your struggles and tears.

I love you more than my words could ever show.
You mean everything to me; I just want you to know.

My love for you is like the raging sea,
So powerful and deep it will forever be.
Through storm, wind, and heavy rain,
It will withstand every pain.

Our hearts are so pure and love so sweet.
I love you more with every heartbeat!

Fake Friends

So many changes,
So many two faces,
One minute you are a friend,
All they do is pretend,
Fake handshakes they give,
The intimacy is complete,
I be hanging with the fakes,
They be acting like snakes,
You don't know me,
Gonna catch this case,
Hit you in the face,
Beat you in the race,
Niggas rap to the beat,
Tell y'all how I treat,
Friends always slacking,
Out here stacking,
By listening to this,
There’s no buts no ifs,
All of this friendly talk builds a trap,
If u are street smart you can avoid the trap

It's better to walk away than to run with a fake friend,
No use for excuses so bad things come to an end.
I'm not spurned and forgotten 'cause I only go for gold
Might as well shut down, shut down......

Asked for an update,
We both know that it's a little too late
Don't wanna be a killijoy,
But all your words are just like white noise boy!

Love You Mum

You brighten up my life
With tender love and care.
When I reach out,
You're always there.

You're someone I can count on
When I need a helping hand.
You're warm and loving;
You always understand.

I'm so thankful to have
A mom like you.
There is no other
Who could fill your shoes.

I always took for granted
That you were there for me
And all the things you did,
But now I see.

You're such a good example
Of what a mom should be.
We always get along so well,
Even when we disagree.

You're so patient
And understanding.
You don't ask for anything.
You're outstanding.

You're so quick to give
And such a joy to be around.
You're such a good person.
You deserve a special crown.

You have a good heart.
You're honest and true.
You're the best mother,
And I really appreciate you.

Abuse

I sat alone in the cold dark room
I knew that he would be home soon
I really wish that people knew
how much pain I was going through

I heard a car park outside
if someone could hear me I would of cried
The door opened viciously with a thud
I would of ran for it if I could

I dream of a world where I am free
But Daddy was already looking for me
He dragged me out from under my bed
I knew he wished that I was dead

Slap in the face
Thrown against the wall
Beaten senseless
Did it help you at all?

Did it help with your pain
Did it make him come back
Did you ever wonder how it felt
To always be under attack?

So I just sit in my room
And I look at the ceiling
Afraid to tell anyone
what I'm feeling

Please help me
I can't take anymore
Suicide failed
And no body's there

Just walk away
that's what you always do
you don't care
what you put me through
