Mother I Never Met, Just Dont Forget

Just a few lines to let you know, the amount of respect for you i hold
it cannot be measured , it cannot be counted
and from time to time I'm sure its been doubted
your heart glows with goodness and longs for truth
If perfect exists, it would be equal to you
I realize at times, Im not at my best
Don't ever feel that I love you less
to be mothered catches me off guard
because mothering me has got to be hard
I am stubborn and old, and set in my ways
I promise mom, I'll get better with age
you give me a sense of value and worth, Im just not sure how it all works
I'm now too old to grasp what moms and daughters do
So I thank the Lord to finally bless me with you
I wish i could be brave and say this to your face
But I wrote it all down, you can refer to,just in case
There is one thing i ask you to do
Keep this note private...
between me and you
Put it in a safe place, out of harms way
This is me loving you, in my own special way
you deserve beter, I just don't know how, so my words on paper will do for now
your the kindest person i've ever met
I love you mom, just don't forget

Last Breath

Vivid hallucinations of a world gone good
tripping over the stepping stones of where i once stood
virtue and morals exist no more
to be female your marked as a whore
diving head first into a lake of last breath
was it a hell of a life
or a step closer to death
confused ascendants refuse to admit
your like you are because of them
hanging from strands of so-called sanity
repititious pressures of ego and vanity
innocence lost amongst pure irony
its a shame intelligence doesnt come with a warranty
obligated religion teaches to pray
while at the same time denying a race
helpless remorse at the door of death
why not apologize before your last breath
how does it feel to be covered by lies
you spent your whole life in shadowy disguise
just accept what you are, where you've been
maybe next life you wont do it again
you attend churches to seek common piety
is it real truth or only society?

Truth Is

just a few lines
to tell you thank you
for all that you've taught me
believe me I'm grateful
without you
there's no tellin where i might be
i may have been normal
allowed to bathe through the week
you taught me words
i didn't know existed
woke me from sleep
double-fisted
I know you didn't mean
to spit in my face
I didn't need those plugs of hair anyway
maybe there was good
somewhere we had
no, those were just fronts
to fool my dad
you can deny and say its not true
Truth is, I'd been somebody without you
All that time I spent in that house
Don't move, oops,smack, ouch
My first 25 years I thought worthless was my name
and you wonder why i don't visit
Ain't that a shame
and like always you were right I am ugly
thanks for all the scars you put on me
remember your favorite beatings
wet lashings on my back
welps so big it hurt to stand
all the reminders of how noone wants me
thanks grandma, just what i needed
No I'm not angry, I'm filled with rage
It just gets easier to hide with age
You pretend to know what love was about
is that why you stuck your tongue in my mouth
I'm sorry
I can't blame you totally
Its my fault my moms a coke addict
thanks for throwing away her letters
Oh thats not true?
WHATEVER MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER

Intro To Me

This world is cursed with many afflictions
But we cope cope thanks to our addictions
Some are concieved into drugs, born into hate
It's not our fault , ..its just our fate
Kicking through thick layers of pure madness
You can call me insane, I'm just numbing the sadness
I've grown quite bitter throughout my years
I'M ALL BURNT OUT,,, NO MORE TEARS
Disapppointment- has become a habit
Happiness- its somewhere, just forgot to grab it
Enjoyment- forever followed by persecution
You can't judge me
You wish you could do it
Your lives revolve around material things
Convincing yourseves your better than me
You could be right, I don't know
I just wanna be done here, i wanna go HOME
Voices screaming inside my head
Memories of my grandma sayin I WISH YOU WERE DEAD
Society waiting with knife in hand
They want me to fail-- best chance to stab
I used to wear an armored jacket
I took it off though
NOW YOU CAN HAVE IT!
Don't confuse yourself man I can handle it
I'm not scared, GOD PUT ME HERE DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!
If you found this what would you think?
Just accept this as
AN INTRO TO ME

To My Soup Friends

My nickname is patty
from when i was a little girl
one small victim
in one sick world
i'm all better now
my feelings less hurt
my son has given me
a huge feeling of worth
my soup friends
 i thank you
you guys are awesome
in a world gone mad
you've helped me blossom
one quick reminder
of how things could be
if i let them win
then you would have never seen
exactly the fear of one little girl
entering life
 in a brand new world
call me violet now
for i am grown
 i've been through hell
and im glad its shown
i no longer feel scared or hateful
thanks to people like you
i am,, so gratefully grateful
child abuse isn't a joke
and it happens
whether you like it or not
so keep an eye out
 for little ones like me
they're everywhere people
 they're just hard to see
 we are their keepers
and should show them the way
to a better life
and a better day

You Wish You Were Me

Knowledge is wisdom
and wisdom is learned
life is a circle
it constantly turns
the world is a book
of many pages
it continues to grow
as long as time ages
empathy equals the knowledge you've earned
sympathy comes from
the force of the universe
silence pressured
by a world of unknown
truth thats supressed
afraid to be shown
you look down on me
and snarl your nose
i laugh at you
i watch your fear grow
you fear
what you don't understand
I'm just a smart ass taking a stand
you hide
behind blinds of despair
I look for light
inside of dead air
my words are clear
my energy a force
your mind is cluttered
your energy is torn
between what you want
and what your expected to be
deep down inside,
You wish you were me
